Peve and Nehli are two electronic music artists who connected through music. Based in the center region of Brazil, a place with a lot of biodiversity and breathtaking spots. This same region inspired these two minds to come together and create "Aroeira". With this EP, they hope to pass to the listeners the mystic and strong energy that this place radiates.

Peve, Nehli - Xingu [Hoomidaas]

Released in July 2021, Juan Deminicis produced another slice of progressive heaven with his twin-track "Water". With a remix EP on Proton Music in the pipeline, Particles also creates its very own remix edition with reworkings from Polish and Argentinean artists.

Rafal Ligienza has been at the forefront of the progressive house scene for over a decade with his Rafa'EL moniker. Including occasional forays into deep house and melodic techno, the Polish artist has drawn praise through his monthly "Infusion" show on Proton Radio, while music signed to such esteemed imprints as Mango Alley, Univack and GMJ & Matter's Meanwhile Horizons, has seen Rafa'EL hit the heights with an assortment of production work. Centred around two original EPs, June 2018's "Twin Flames" and November 2019's "Floating Moments", showcased Rafa'El's unique and impressive sound for Particles, while remixes for Rauschhaus and Mariner + Domingo are now joined by a third.

Reworking the title track, the Rafa'EL remix of "Water" takes the striking percussive groove of the original and uses it as a foundation from which a flowing melodic piece forms pulsating waves of sound over its 7-minute timeframe. Subtle use of the Mila Belini's vocals drift in ethereal patterns across the mid-range as new synth lines from the Rafa'EL production studio work their magic across the breakdown and into the third movement. The result is a shimmering new version full of sonic colour.

A new artistic pairing from the foothills of the Sierra Chicas, Córdoba duo, Alto Astral have quickly established a reputation within the progressive house genre with their live performances and DJ sets. Making their debut on April 2021's Fabri Lopez compiled "Prod Community II" for Balkan Connection, June's "Time Shifter" EP showcased a pair of dynamic original tracks in collaboration with Andrés Moris.

Now making their Particles debut, the Alto Astral remix of "Rebellion" drives powerfully forwards with a strong rhythmic foundation and rolling percussive groove. Subtle vocal flourishes from the original make their presence felt in freeform patterns while new synth lines weave a new aural tapestry across the 8-minute remix. Adding white-noise effects, snare roll and chugging bass groove to the mix, the second half explodes into a wall of sound complete with new melodic sequencing.

Continuing to flow with a vibrant vitality, Juan Deminicis finds "Water" continuing to quench his thirst with remixes from Rafa'EL and Alto Astral.

Dutch artist Alex O'Rion's new album 'Nostalgia' blends different music styles, combining grooves, organic elements, and progressive sounds for a soulful journey with a playful nod to earlier electronic music.

Globally respected for his uplifting releases on labels spanning from Guy J's Lost & Found to Hernan Cattaneo's SUDBEAT, Alex has also shared his music through Anjunadeep, Meanwhile, Movement, and has been featured on compilations by iconic brands like Global Underground.

This album marks a natural evolution in Alex's career. Over the past 18 months, he was in the studio on an almost daily basis. Moreover, he brought the album on the road, drawing inspiration from the sights and sounds of his travels.

As a touring DJ, Alex has graced stages with headline sets across the globe, spanning from South America to Australia. The laidback warmth from these exotic destinations resonates within the immersive sound of this album.

The album is drenched in atmospheric vibes, yet retains the dance floor-focused energy that is the trademark sound of his uplifting style.

Working on the album allowed Alex to break away from his normal routines of producing bite-sized chunks of music that were released as singles or EPs, giving him the broad freedom to truly uncover the music that always resided within him.

In Alex's own words: "The album 'Nostalgia' gets its name because it reflects a sentiment that has grown stronger as I've aged. Fondly reminiscing about the music of a younger me, I often sense a certain soulfulness lacking in today's electronic music. In an attempt to explore this feeling, I went on a bit of a self-reset and a touch of reinvention. This involved changing my usual routines and adopting some old-school methods, such as sampling beats and instruments from vintage vinyl records, blending them with my current sound. The album is intended to feel personal and intimate for my listeners. I aimed to create a moment of intimacy, as if they are listening to the songs alongside me while on their way home."

The 14-track release will be available through Solis Records, Alex O'Rion's newly established record label, launched in 2023.

Madloch's Sound Avenue welcomes Secretly Famous back to the label for their second artist EP. Hailing from Australia, the Secretly Famous production duo first emerged in 2021 on the strength of early offerings such as 'Chimera' and 'On Fire'. Noted for their ability to marry traditional and contemporary progressive sounds, the Secretly Famous duo was quickly tipped as a production team to watch going forward. The next three calendar years would see the Aussie duo continue to refine their sound, resulting in an aesthetic that was both groovy and melodic. Secretly Famous would begin their creative partnership with Sound Avenue in 2022, in the form of a well-received debut via label affiliate Future Avenue, a two-track EP which would go on to yield twenty-five additional appearances across the Belgian label collective. Perhaps none more impactful was the duo's Sound Avenue debut, a progressive take on 'One Word' by Estonian duo about : river, a project which landed with a resounding thump just over a year ago.

The first part of 2024 was highlighted by two EP's 'Yeon' and 'Outlive', which was a five-track showcase which takes a deeper look into the duo's far-reaching repertoire. Now they're back with the first sampler for their upcoming album which is set for release early next year. The duo presents the first 3 tracks of that album "Cherry Rip, Inspired & watermelon."

Hoomidaas Records is the record label of the DJ/artist/producer/multi-instrumentalist Armen Miran along with his partner Christina Acobiance. The word Hoomidaas is a stylized acronym for the phrase “who made us”, paying homage to how past narratives shape the present moment. Armen states, "I would not be who I am if it wasn’t for my past." This shows that he holds a deep respect for experiential knowledge above all else and intends to capture that through this label venture. Furthermore, when isolated as “hoom” in Armenian it means “raw” and when artists are invited to be a part of Hoomidaas releases Armen asks them to imagine what the raw part of the sun (the other side of the sun that we cant see) would look like. He loves to challenge their perspectives and hear what experiential wisdom emanates from his fellow creators. 
 
The music, artists, and artwork/design are a huge priority for Armen. His mission is to hand-craft every aspect of Hoomidaas adding to its memorable intrigue via his experiences travelling and playing shows. He tells us that, "a few years ago I played a 12 hour set surrounded by the most beautiful artwork all over the walls of the space. That space is called Rambalkoshe. Since then we have been collaborating with Rambalkoshe and they’re who made our vision and art design come to life for many of the illustrations associated with the label." The synchronistic nature of the partnerships he embarks on are a strong indicator that intuition combined with drive can take you somewhere truly magical. 
 
Currently the label works with a handful of artists. They have each of their artists release a mix on their mix series called “Midaas” which comes out every two months. Additionally the label releases bi-annual compilations, one in the summer called “Hoom Side of the Sun” and one for the winter called “Hoom Side of the Moon”.
