With experience in live Djing, studio engineering, recording and production, John Bailey a.k.a. Metawon is not new to this. For over ten years he has been working hard to improve and refine his varied skill set.  Having released numerous underground mixtapes, beat tapes, and being featured as a collaborator and/or engineer on a variety of notable albums, he has thoroughly demonstrated his work ethic. His first feature release, `Choplifter` was released through Neferiu Records, as well as his first full instrumental album 'Electric Dyslexic'. Following that was an instrumental album with collaborator Dirty Sample entitled 'Toothface Swaggerfoot' which also escaped onto Neferiu. Some more recent work includes the album 'Volume Room' with rapper Azrael and the instrumental ninja album 'Kinso's Travels', both released through Shadow Shogun Beats. More music is always in the works, in addition to DJ gigs and studio collaborations.
He has garnered praise for his diversity and skill from some of the best, including claiming the title for 2012-2013 Beat Street West Champion.
