‘Hope40mill’ is a South African recording  artist ,song  writer and performer , who hails from  the north west in the small streets  of Ventersdorp. His love for Music grew even stronger when he started listening to tunes from various artists such as Proverb, Reason, Zubs, Optical illusion , AKA  and skwattakamp, because he could relate to what they talked about in their songs. He took to the streets what he thought was only a medium of expression, later to be turned into a formidable force of passion. In 2009 he became a contestant in one of Mzansi’s popular music competition show known as Jam Alley was presented by(ThatoT’do&Twasa), where he took the number one spot. Joined the SAAF (South African Air Force) as a stepping stone(June 18, 2010). After basic Military training he was then based at the Air force base Ysterplaat , aspirational to fulfil his dream he worked with a cape town based producer (Jay Tip ) originally from KZN who is very well known in the underground Hip Hop community , produced his first tape ( Been a minute ) . Performed at open mic sessions in Guguletualso performed at Zevolis bar for the Livity sounds launch, with the boostfulness in his delivery and thought provoking metaphors, he has a fresh sound, an alluring flow and a stage presence of a 100 men.Shared the mic with the spaza pioneers very well-known as Driemanskap.Being a soldier is all about not being area bound, then got relocated to Pretoria (Cap City). 2013 shizniz had a competition for Hip Hop artists titled ( the 101 competition) , Hope40mill was also taking part in it , performances at the Melrose palace , African chef ,  Channel M and acting graduations(Thembisa) and Recess(centurion)
