Runaway From You

Psychosis brought me to music production when it became the easiest way for me to communicate my ineffable experiences at the end of my first psychotic break, which lasted a long eight months. As you can imagine, there was much to express. My album “Desert of Delusion” was the strongest processing tool I had acquired to work through what was the most turbulent and invigorating time of my life. 

This wasn’t just a one-off, though. I would go on to experience two more psychotic breaks, with the most recent one being last month. BUT! I didn’t have to be hospitalized for that one. I’m getting better at this! 

I also have a wicked severe case of ADHD, which is where my name comes from! My primary personality trait is ENERGETIC and as such, I get bored very easily when a loop plays for too long. To combat this, I constantly vary up the instruments and samples I’m using! I aim to create ever-evolving soundscapes that take listeners on a grand journey of the mind, much like what I experienced during my MANY hours of disappearing into Shpongle, OTT, and Entheogenic while psychotic. I want to recreate that immersive experience for the listener and share how I experience music!  

I have a severe brain injury from being hit by a truck as a child. Because of this, my energy waxes and wanes and I’m rather inconsistent on here but I’m trying my best and slowly getting better! It affects my music production in the COOLEST of ways though, because I have a touch of audio-tactile synesthesia. You may find sounds that repeat themselves in my songs, like the deep bubbling of a tabla or the squiggly twang of a jaw-harp. I like to use sounds that FEEL good! 

I’ve only been producing for a little over a year and have VERY much to learn but I LOVE to meet new people! If you have any tips or questions or just want to say hi, PLEASE feel free to drop me a message! I PROMISE I’ll respond as soon as I’m able!
