The disease might hide the person underneath, but there is still a person in there who needs love and attention. In those challenging and uncertain moments, the compassionate caregiver is a hero who needs to have infinite understanding and courage without any expectations. 

Those with dementia might forget us but we must remember and celebrate them through their journey. There’s no time to waste. We all know the last chapter in the book.

(NOTE for RepostEx users: I don't repost AI if I can detect it, and I only repost songs I like or show some level of competence or promise...and they usually don't involve an 808, misogyny, Autotune or singing off key over a prerecorded track...and at my age I'm FAR more interested in quality connections with listeners than going "viral". ALSO: mostly an aging rock/folk/prog/indie guy...can't really judge or really relate to Hip-Hop, Auto-Tune and other more modern styles...sorry.)

John Ludi is a musician/singer-songwriter/cultural relic with a diverse and "arty" array of influences and lyrical interests who was "Indie" before the term even existed. Working outside of the music industry by choice has given Ludi the ability to release songs of a level of lyrical depth that are anathema to the current culture.  Ludi lives off-grid in a yurt in the woods of WI and finds the materialistic priorities of our civilization incredibly wrong and destructive.

Joe and Barry met in 2003, near Portsmouth, when they both started studying a BTEC in music together. After completing the course in 2005, they remained good friends even when Joe moved back to Birmingham. Joined by a love of music and sport, using both as an excuse to meet up as much as possible. Over the years they have played music together on and off, whether it was local gigs in Birmingham or recording new music. Due to the distance, playing new music was difficult to do regularly. In 2019, they recorded a 4 track EP. It was released in March 2020 and gives an introduction to the current line up of Hope Street. 

Early into the Covid lockdown in 2020, Joe and Barry, now both armed with recording software, started sending demos to each other. They quickly realised that they had a collection of songs that they were happy with and started working towards recording the 11 track album Silence & Chaos, scheduled to be released in December 2020. Uploading the songs as they were individually finished to Soundcloud and Instagram and receiving mostly good comments from the online community, 

Hope Street are looking forward to the future and are already working towards their next project.
