'Adrift' appears in ‘First Song’ from Spotify, who have partnered with The Starkey Hearing Foundation to help bring hearing and music to people in Puerto Princesa, Philippines living with hearing loss.

‘First Song’ tells the stories of Eugene, Jessa Mae and Isagani, as they share their experiences hearing music for the first time after receiving their hearing aids.

Ian Babineau is a designer and record collector living in Saint Paul. In both design and music, he enjoys using his intuition to arrive at loose arrangements that resonate emotionally. This shows up in his DJ sets via a genre-hopping musical experience that responds to the tunings of the heart rather than typical genre tags or beat matching techniques. He is currently freelancing and lecturing after spending 6 years as a graphic designer at Walker Art Center.
