Xavier Jansana Aka Dj Toxic begun his career as a DJ in 1995 under the influence of E.B.M & Industrial Techno in Barcelona.
Xavier is one of the true pioneers and originators of psychedelic trance scene in Spain, playing psychedelic trance and techno since 1998, participating in almost every event in the country and going frequently to international festivals all over Europe.
Been a part of many labels over the years, Mechanik Sound, Materia Recods and Nutek Records, guided him to join forces with Barcelona based well known monster label United Beats Records by Madd Maxx.
Here on Horns and Hoofs DJ Toxic shares something completely different from his usual and its his own vision of lower bpm groovy and lysergic techno mixed with psychedelic house and progressive grooves, meting it with psytech and showing his great taste to the modern sound of the genre.

The psychedelic legends met up during the summer of 2019 and played around with modular recordings. After a few productive sessions the deep techno dj tool was ready. Carl Finlow turned the song into an electro banger whilst Ness takes listeners to a darker realm. Finally, Jack Sienkiewicz explores more liquid acid minimal techno dreamy landscapes with an irresistible hypnotic groove."

“During summer 2019 i was in Berlin visiting my childhood friend Konstantin Gervis (Gervis/ZV_K) who is working for Tip Top Audio synth company, for a whole week i was joining him in his studio checking new tip top gear and recording all the fresh modular manipulations which resulted as a few folders of some freshly synthesized mind-blowing samples, same week i dropped by Nimrod Gorovich studio and played him some of those recordings he loved it and showed me a sample of Fidel Castro’s
speech in UN in 1979, this speech is famous and my Spanish knowledge allowed me to make a good edit of it and Nimrod just on spot came up with a rhythm and bass line of the track and after few days of productive sessions the tune was done.
Apocalyptic deep techno dj friendly tool that awakes awareness of some life values we both share, the call for all humanity to stop for a second and think about PEACE and making an anti war statement.
Then- pandemic broke up and it wasn’t a good time to release anything dark and war subject related, anyhow sadly last year our world slides back to the times of wars, weapons, rockets, bombs, nuclear threats and its becoming again a hot subject, there for we find this tune more then fitting and relevant to be released NOW."

Gorovich- successful psychedelic trance producer, well known for his original and unique sound that stands out of all psytrance scene cliches and formulas and hybrids his trance with techno and vise versa. His musical journey began as a drummer in the Tel Aviv’s indie scene, evolving into his first well known project duo Empirikal and later a part of legendary LOUD live project, all those experiences resulted him to form his solo project Gorovich and to release an album that followed with an extensive touring all around the world and collaborations with some of the most famous acts and producers in the scene in his constant exploration and experimentation with new sounds, he continues to push boundaries of electronic dance music with his authentic psychedelic style and phat production.
