2022 marks the 30th anniversary of Fanu making music.
These songs were made around 1997–1998.
They are the oldest Fanu songs that exist, thanks to the then early-stage internet.
To celebrate the long road of music-making, these old songs from somewhat formative years are finally released to the public.

Songs were originally made with Fasttracker 2 in '97/'98, imported with Renoise in 2022, and then very slightly retouched with Ableton Live.
They are, however, largely in their original state, with very minor mixing/mastering applied, to respect the older aesthetics.

This is Response's 2nd solo track for Horrific Recordings, he first featured on HORRIFICOO2 back in 2014 with 'Aiden's Tune' an amen piece under the guise 'Ego Scene'. You know Response's trademark sound, his contemporary runnings on V - Recordings,Ingredients,Commercial Suicide,Fresh 86. Manchester's most dangerous D&B purist kicks this one off with haunting perilous chords over a crisp two step break, in comes a high pass amen, switching gear with the baddest Apache pre- drop breakdown. A haunting voice sample smashes instantly into the nastiest darkside ride of 2016, knocking the dance floor over side ways. REWIND !!! EVERYTIME !!! Reminiscent of J.Majiks epic legendary 1994 track ‘Your Sound’ on Metal Headz. Label artwork features ‘Psycho’ 1980s New York subway train graffiti in pure Hip Hop style by James Jessop.
