Recently, the founder of Midnight Riot Records, Andy Williams, Yam Who? Passed away suddenly just out of the blue. Andy built Midnight Riot from decades of experience in 2012. Later on he was joined by Phil Rose, aka. Jaegerossa. Midnight Riot has been a huge inspiration for me in more ways than I knew. This episode is dedicated to Yam, Andy. All tracks are from his Midnight Riot /Black Riot imprints, and you’ll surely be able to appreciate the legacy it leaves behind in audio. This one goes out to the Midnight Riot crew.

Resident Craig Adams took to the decks this week, a talented member of our crew who has exceptional taste in music, ranging from uplifting house grooves to funky disco beats to souful vibes. As well as spinning tunes on NDC Radio, he is also the host of the well respected show House Nation on Radio Saltire. 

His guest for the second hour was Smashed Atoms, the creative alter-ego of London-based producer and DJ Steve Gladdis. Known for his eclectic beats and vibrant energy, he's released tracks on labels like Hot Digits, Paper Disco and New City Sound. Blending elements of funk, soul, and electronica, his sets are always a sheer delight, and it's a pleasure to welcome him to Horsebox Disco.
