Italian native Fab Samperi may be new to Freshly Squeezed but has previously worked with or remixed the likes of Skeewiff, Smoove & Turrell and Basement Freaks and here easily justifies his place on the label with a killer cut.

Following hot on the heels of the iTunes-charting ‘Blue Cover’ EP Vol.2 comes the 10th single in this highly acclaimed series… we are really pleased and excited to maintain the tradition of these EPs by offering yet another guaranteed floor-filler.

The A side - The Big Swing - comes in two versions; a radio-friendly edit and a longer club version, both featuring original vocals from Louis Armstrong’s wife and manager Lil (pictured on the sleeve), while the AA side - The Gangster Blues - tantalisingly bridges the gulf between hip-hop and electro swing with guest vocals from Geo Johnson and Chantal.

Was feeling a bit blue, so I dusted off my old wax and had a session.

This is a super impromptu classic Liquid D&B mix.  100% records, barely any planning.  A couple imperfect blends, but actually pretty decent considering I haven't recorded a vinyl mix since like 2007.

Hello Soundcloud fam, it has been a hot minute hasn't it? Yes I am still alive and apparently I'm still a DJ. I've been on a little sabbatical/mental health break but wanted to pop in with some tunes. I found this on my laptop and cleaned it up for y'all to enjoy. It's my set from the amazing Shindig Festival 2022 from the Church of Love stage hosted by the legendary Father Funk! An hour of the usual funky goods here for you to enjoy. Marty Funkhauser - Live At Shindig Weekender UK 2022

A rare genre-spanning set that maintains a very funky vibe throughout, this is my live performance from the SoCal festival The Gathering XI in 2024.  Honoring the event's tradition for Funky Fridays, I slung this one that rocks some mid-tempo breaks and glitch hop, then slides on over to some booty house and big room bass with a couple select classics. Born in 1958, and raised in Vancouver British Columbia, the early 60s were the beginning of HoserPoser's formative years. 

The Beatles, Sly & The Family Stone and The Rolling Stones were his first musical influences and the beat goes on from there through the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s etc...to present.

HoserPoser always wanted to be a DJ but things and responsibilities got in the way for a while. He's a Late starter with a vast mental and tangible repertoire of great musical gems and various vibes. 

After many years of discovery and practice, HoserPoser considers himself an accomplished Throwback, Eclectic DJ who loves to rework and revive old music. He is also a purveyor of House, Funk, Jazz, R&B, Soul, NuDisco, D&B, Jungle, Balearic and Classic Rock. 

Being a resident of Terrace BC, Ron has performed at the local Valhallafest music festival several times and has had the honor of warming up the stage for headliners like Fort Knox Five and Slynk.
