Outer Space

This song started as an experiment—a creative challenge between me and a friend (Mr. John K) to see what we could come up with using a completely new method. The process was as much about discovery as it was about writing, and somewhere along the way, the concept of a star’s inner workings became the backbone of it all.

“Stellar Structure” is inspired by the layers of a star—the chaos and energy at its core, the balance that keeps it burning, and the way it radiates outward into the universe. We wanted to capture that idea musically, with sounds and patterns that build, collapse, and reform, like the life of a star itself.

It’s a little experimental, a little cosmic, and definitely one of the most unique things we’ve ever created. Think of it as a journey into the heart of something vast and unknowable, but also kind of beautiful.

[9:16pm] finished watching the tom green documentary with my mom earlier this evening and it was really good. i recommend checking it out when you can! it's a really inspiring story that tom has and he has a lot of passion for his craft always working toward his goals. i hope you get to check it out. but yeah anyways i started another track this afternoon and i'm digging it. the 10th song of the series is a great checkpoint so to speak. my goal is to get to atleast 30 minutes so i have a couple of more tracks to go. thanks for following along on the journey. peace - jake

this is my tenth track on my newest album that i'm currently compiling. i'm challenging myself not to use any pre-made loops or AI and see what i can put together myself with my own skills using guitar as my instrument. my aim is to create enough tracks to create a 30 minute album and begin sharing my music on youtube. i hope you enjoy listening and if you do please join along with me on my journey.

when i was young i was lucky enough to have people show me a few chords and teach me a bit to get started off, but i never took the time to dig in extra. it wasn't until about five years ago where i'd learn more about music theory and some other techniques/principles and found a teacher to help me learn with short lessons once a week. and lots of practice by myself and with friends

now recently as of the last few years i've started recording music and now i'm really interested in growing my youtube channel so that i can share music and combine them with interesting visuals. another passion of mine is video production, so i'd like to combine these two arts and do something like that with them.

i had a good time puttin this one together. it's one of those that kind of fell right out all easy like. kinda how like all that stuff falls out of my taco when i goto take a bite. i'm trying not to judge the output too much, but at the same time i'm getting bother by the humming/buzzing sound of the guitar amps so that has caused me to learn more about EQ and i'm trying my best to remove that but still learning. apart of the whole process and gives me something new to do. other than that i'm still feeling like i'm in the flow with putting these together. 

i'm currently working on putting together my first album using only guitar and this track puts me at around 27 minutes total of the album. my goal is to reach 30 minutes so that means i'm about one track from my goal. pretty exciting stuff.

Time Will Tell

Recorded this back in May and just found it and decided to leave it as an instrumental for now. Real chill vibe. I went with the name Northern Skies because I recently visited upstate New York for some work and the windy morning sounds in the song were reminding me of it so i decided that it would be the title. :)

I'm getting closer to finishing the songs for my new album and you'll definitely find this one on there too. Looking forward to sharing a couple more soon.
