Interstellar Recordings builds on its strong 2025 momentum with a new EP from Warung.

Warung, the Boston-based duo of Aaron Hopkins and Dillon Ames, is a project known for crafting warm and melodic club tracks. On the Fade Away EP, the duo channels the spirit of the early 2010's deep house revival—rich in groove and atmosphere—while infusing it with the polish and drive of modern melodic dance.

“With Fade Away and Pray, we just had some fun in the studio—drafting vocal takes and throwing ideas at the wall,” the duo shares. “We ended up building around those takes, which led to two deeper house records. It’s a nice blend that feels true to us, almost reminiscent of what inspired us when we first started Warung.”

On Fade Away, crisp, weighty drums anchor the track while Dillon's airy vocals and shimmering pads introduce a spacious, celestial vibe to the track. Pray brings more brooding energy to the EP with its chunky, layered bass tones and washed out stabs, yet maintains Warung’s emotional signature with a delicately delivered vocal line.

Together, the tracks strike a precise balance between physical groove and emotional depth.
