Spectrasoul - Burst (Calibre Remix) [Forthcoming IshChat]

Next weekend, we welcome the return of one of the leading duos in drum & bass as Spectrasoul play Room Two. They’ve been keeping busy since they last joined us, with last year’s killer 'How We Live' LP landing on their Ish Chat label. They’re now dropping remixes of album tracks 'Burst' and 'Say What' on a new EP featuring Calibre, so they sent over their glistening mix of 'Say What' for us to share. Speaking of how the remix came together, they told us:

“We'd always thought that 'Say What' would lend itself to a nice D&B remix, so when the vocalist Madi said that she had composed some nice piano chords, we got to work. The original vocal took on a completely new vibe once it was sitting on the new chords, so we stripped everything back and focussed on that late-night, sultry vibe and it just grew from there...”
