Rafael and Mishell unite for the first time on Jamie Jones’ Hot Creations with ‘Naughty’—a three-track package dropping on 25th April, featuring collaborations with British-Persian DJ/producer Nariman and vocalist Eliza Legzdina. 

Hotly tipped DJ/producer Rafael has been making his mark on labels like DFTD, Realm, and Maccabi House, including his recent team-up with Sapian for his Collecting Dots debut, ‘What What’. Now, linking up with fellow countryman Mishell, fresh from ‘Cantina’ on Get Physical Music, and ‘Lightweight’ on Diynamic, whose psychedelic take on House and Indie Dance continues to fuel both his productions and his event brand, Mess. Together, they make their label debut on Jones’ Hot Creations with ‘Naughty’, bringing a fresh burst of House energy as they blend their distinctive styles. 

“We came into the studio with no plans, no references—just good energy and a jam session that turned into something we’re really proud of. The idea was to blend tech-house grooves with big room vibes and a subtle ravey touch, and somehow… it just clicked. This EP marks a meaningful moment for us, not only because it’s our first time producing together, but also because throughout this process, we became really close friends. Rafael and Mishell open ‘Naughty’ with ‘Naaa’, where a punchy kick drum leads the way, building the groove with sharp stabs and twisting percussion. The energy shifts as ‘Naughty’ takes over, blending a menacing edge with a dynamic flow, as techy elements cut through a gritty bassline and warped snippets take you on a trip. To close, Rafael calls up Nariman—who has graced iconic venues like London’s Fabric, Brooklyn Mirage, and Glastonbury Festival—for ‘Another Dimension’, where a fusion of attitude, rich sonics, and energy meet, while Eliza Legzdina’s smooth vocals flow seamlessly throughout.

Marking his second outing on Hot Creations, OMRI. (pronounced OMRI dot) is back with ‘Release The Pressure’, a potent two-tracker that reaffirms his status as one of the most exciting and unconventional rising voices in house music. Dropping in the heart of summer, the release delivers two distinctive cuts built for dancefloor impact, showcasing the sonic versatility that’s put him on the map. Now a familiar name within the international circuit, OMRI. has carved out a unique niche with a forward-thinking style that bridges heads-down psychedelia and peak-time sonics. His last appearance on Hot Creations came via 2024’s ‘Dance All Night’, while his more recent Crosstown Rebels outing ‘Nothing Wrong’ picked up Pete Tong’s Essential New Tune on BBC Radio 1, and this return delivers yet another marker of his growing global influence.

Featuring vocals from LA-based songwriter and poet Benni Ola, lead track ‘Release The Pressure’ is a pulsating, groove-driven heater made for full-throttle moments. Crisp percussion, hooky vocals, sharp synths, and low-end pressure come together in a track that simmers with controlled intensity. On the flip, ‘Sweat’ goes deeper and darker with Ola once again featuring - hypnotic, trippy yet playful, and perfectly unhinged yet locked in for the more off-kilter corners of the night.

His recent dates have seen him light up renowned venues from Miami’s Club Space to Hï Ibiza, adding to landmark sets at Burning Man and Mayan Warrior in Tulum. Alongside his own output, his label Collecting Dots is quickly establishing itself with a distinctive sound and vision, while hosting curated showcases around the world. Having already joined label boss Jamie Jones at UNVRS Ibiza earlier in the season, and with a second Paradise appearance to come in September, ‘Release The Pressure’ arrives as a significant release in the midst of his biggest summer yet.
