A duo helping to lead the charge for Brazil's emerging wave of new talent, Crewcutz have built a strong reputation over the past twelve months with their infectious grooves and cutting-edge productions. Regularly championed by Solid Grooves Records co-founders Michael Bibi and PAWSA, as well as heavyweights like Jamie Jones and Marco Carola, their music continues to gain momentum and move crowds worldwide. Now, the pair step up for their debut release on Solid Grooves, unveiling their rest release of 2025 with the bumping 'Peekaboo'. 

A showcase of percussive and rolling basslines, 'Peekaboo' delivers a groove-heavy cut designed for the dancefloor, fusing crisp drum work with provocative vocals and undeniable swing.

Always bringing his high-impact sound to the forefront, Brazil’s Volkoder makes a solo return to Jamie Jones’ Hot Creations with his ‘Need Your Body’ EP on 9th May—a decade on from his remix of Nathan Barato’s ‘Every Time I See You’. Opening with the title track, Volkoder fuses funky rhythms and thudding kicks, while female vocals take control, locking the track into a full-bodied groove. Next, ‘Swee’ brings snaking percussion and a raw, sleazy energy, weaving hypnotic rhythms and shuffling drum work into a sweat-soaked workout. On ‘Des’, fizzing frequencies inject a euphoric edge built for the main stage, before snapping into a razor-sharp percussive drive in true Volkoder style. 

A master of groove, Volkoder’s catalogue boasts over thirty Beatport Top 10s, along with remixes for names such as Dennis Ferrer and Kerri Chandler. With a career spanning over 15 years, he continues to build his growing influence worldwide, performing at the likes of Ministry of Sound (London), Space (Miami), and major festivals like Tomorrowland. Now gearing up for his second release of 2025, the self-taught talent delivers another essential cut built for clubs, festivals, and everything in between.
