Sitting in Canterbury, UK, they give the pure House flava with their mixes (the @comunionlatam mix is a perfect example)

With a few gigs up their sleeve and some radio takeovers (Margate Radio monthly show, Braga Circuit's Threads Radio takeover), there's lots of ways you can keep in touch with their vibe.

They also curate DJs for their Soul Craft curations, in which they get DJs from all around the world to permit them to show their vibes and tastes.

They're good friends and I'm glad to collaborate with them one more time.

Vivod label boss Ali Renault serves up this rather moody ep in memory of his late friend, Pete Mangalore of Human Shield fame. The five tracker kicks off with Northdown Acid, a brooding sprawl with elements of Italo and acid combined to beautiful effect. The amusingly titled Imminent Salad follows with its jacking strut groove, laden with lush pads. Peter Summoning breaks up the ep with its simple ambient suggestion. On the flip things get going again with slo mo stomper Forbidden Mind before title track Nawce Blizzard closes with it’s electro style hypnosis. Finally we’re left with an infinite cat purring locked groove to send you to sleep. Great ep from start to finish. All copies come with a free Peter plectrum and vivod sticker. A crossover between American duo The Body, who have been tinkering with noise and metal since 1999, and Berlin-based DJ, producer, and vocalist Felicia Chen (AKA Dis Fig) was bound to make the earth shake. Sure enough, ‘Orchards of a Futile Heaven’, the collaboration’s first outing, sent seismic ripples reverberating throughout the heavy music scene. The Body’s previous flirtations with techno, minimal wave, and industrial meet full steam ahead Dis Fig’s seasoned club expertise in a collaborative project that is also, lest we forget, profoundly emotional.
