Jan Kincl is a DJ, record producer, remixer, engineer, and live performer with a reputation as one of the most inspiring Croatian artists. Balancing the thin line between house, techno, and jazz, Jan's music found a home with world-renowned labels such as BBE Records, Far Out Recordings, Sonar Kollektiv, and Get Physical, and got remixed by Alton Miller, Gene Hunt, Kai Alcé, Trinidadian Deep, and Gari Romalis.

Sicx Five is a U.S. Army Veteran / hip-hop artist coming out of Dallas, Texas. Raised as a child of Military parents, he was born in Las Vegas, NV.  Following his families’ military rotations, he then began his nomadic moves to many different parts of the U.S. including San Bernardino, CA; Kansas City, MO; KS; Jackson, MS and Philadelphia, PA. After joining the Military himself he has been stationed at Fort Hood, TX; Fort Jackson, S.C.; Fort Eustis, VA and Orlando, FL. He has since been deployed in Kuwait, Iraq and Afghanistan.

Sicx Five’s strength in song writing and his passion for both Rap and Hip Hop, is what gains him both respect and loyalty from his growing fan base. He is the rare type of artist that can write and perform a song that captivates the listener, gives you an insider’s perspective on his viewpoint in the world, gets the party started, or give the streets an anthem.

Sicx Five’s passion and dedication to music was the driving force on his three deployments to war zones overseas and it is that support system that helped him to “maintain his mental” while deployed. 

Sicx Five currently works overseas in Afghanistan, as a contractor, in support of the U.S. Army mission. Being restricted from access to record, drives him to further hone his craft and dedicate himself to seize all opportunities that are out there, or to create his own.

Sicx Five has a special place in his soul towards the “Anti-Violence and Stop Bullying” movement and in support of this cause has volunteered his services as a performer and speaker, at 2 performances on July 19, 2014, in Dallas, TX.

Sicx Five is prepping his first mixtape release for July 2014. “Prezidential Grind” is a collaborative effort between Sicx Five of PUG DRG (Papered Up Grind Digital Recording Group) and Ice B of Prezidential Enterprises. The single “Rock Like Me” was a standout track that garnered both internet radio play and placement on various mixtapes.

Sicx Five is following the release of “Prezidential Grind” with his first solo mixtape “Sicx To The Future”, set for release in September 2014.

“Hip Hop / Rap is a fully vetted art form that is over 40 years old. It reaches all the way from true Hip Hop, like the Furious Five days, to what is called Country Hip Hop today.
