When you're talking about techno, few names have been innovating and evolving as much as Robert Hood. When he's not running things over at M-Plant, he can be found touring the festival circuit with his live show and releasing tonnes of fresh new material.

Today we concentrate on his more melodic alias and under the name Floorplan, Hood has released a stunning album showcasing a slightly different yet equally strong sound.

A new EP is set to drop featuring two re-edits of tracks that appeared on his Floorplan album 'Paradise'. 'Phobia' and 'Never Grow Old' have been given a special Re-Plant and we have the premiere of the latter.

Debuting on Rekids, Laurent Garnier & Chambray collaborate for a colossal single entitled ‘Feelin’ Good’ featuring two outstanding remixes from label owner Radio Slave.

Having supported Rekids for many years in his sets across the globe, it only made sense for Laurent Garnier to drop one of his finest productions to date on the label. Although the legendary Frenchman has kept busy producing movie soundtracks (‘Paris Est A Nous’) and remixes in recent years, this is his first full release since 2017. He’s joined in the studio by Chambray, a Berlin-based producer known for releasing on Figure, Unknown To The Unknown and Jimmy Edgar’s Ultramajic.

Opening with sporadic battle cries, stabbing claps and powerful bass sequences before rapturous piano melodies come into effect – ‘Feelin’ Good’ is undoubtedly one of this year’s biggest tracks. On the flip, Radio Slave assembles two contrasting remixes that do just as much damage: the first is an atmospheric
number that marches forward using precision kicks, rattling percussion and rising pads, whilst the ‘Revenge Mix’ cranks things up a notch with its crunchy breaks before introducing the original’s blissful keys.

Beard Man label boss Mark Broom returns to Radio Slave’s Rekids with a swinging techno focused four-tracker entitled ‘Raver EP’

Since the early 90s, renowned UK artist and DJ Mark Broom has been cherished for his consistent output of rhythmically charged techno and energy spiking performances with releases on Warp, R&S, Soma, Hardgroove and Blueprint alongside collaborations with artists such as Baby Ford, James Ruskin, Discrete Circuit and Gary Beck. ​A regular on Rekids, Broom's contributed numerous releases and remixes to Matt Edwards' label - notably last year's massive 'Break 97 EP' - and his next outing sees the prolific producer return with four more versatile club-focused cuts.

‘Raver’ opens with boomy kicks, splashing cymbals and aggressive stabs until ‘Insta’ trembles the floor with rolling snares, driving rides, distorted claps and arpeggiated synth patterns. On the flip, ‘Midnight’ takes retro sounding keys and adds peak time drive with lofi drums, distant vocals and a sleek funk line sample before ‘Hear Me’ electrifies with a tease of classic 90s-esque lyrics, bouncing toms and elated chords.

Mark Broom - Midnight

Hotflush is a record label launched by Paul Rose aka Scuba in 2003. Its early period was spent as a central part of London's Bass Music scene which exploded in the mid 2000s, although the label has always been difficult to pigeonhole musically and recent output has focused on Techno and House.

NoXaP aka Paul, commence à écouter de la musique éléctronique vers ses 12 ans, très vite, il découvre la trance psychédélique. Il commence par la progressive psytrance, psy techno puis la dark, forest, darkpsy, hi-tech et psycore. Progressivement, il se dirige vers la mentalcore, acidcore, tribecore et tekno en passant par la techno, drum and bass et de nombreux autres style underground.

Passionné par le milieu des goas et free party, il créait en 2019 avec son frère aka Paxon son propre collectif nommé "Le Collectif De La Cave" et de nombreux amis se joindrons à lui.

Dès 2023, il se lance dans l’événementiel et fonde V-Sonus. Par la suite, il se procure un système sonore L-Acoustics et divers matériel scénique.

En 2024, il rejoint le label Excessus Records en tant que dj résident et co-organise les événements.
