Weirdness

Brand new Milwaukee based independent record label NiceFM is thrilled to announce their first release “Hot Science” from producer SammyJams.
Blending quirky and sometimes vaguely familiar samples with frenetic synths and hip hop drums, Hot Science is a thoughtful journey into distant alien landscapes. SammyJams produced Hot Science entirely within the confines of the Teenage Engineering OP-1 and its virtual 4 track “tape” recorder. This production method gives Hot Science a very unified sound and unique character. 
To create some excitement for Hot Science, Sam began posting some teaser videos from each track online. These teasers caught the attention of avant-garde bass phenom Zero Tep. In the 11th hour, he produced the other-worldly remix medley “Zero Tep's Physics Homework” mined from 3 of his favorite cuts off Hot Science. We are thrilled to include this amazing track as a bonus cut with the release of Hot Science.
