This deep, slow, sexy set was made for my incredible partner, JJ, who turned 40 just a few weeks ago. Generally finding his groove to slower, darker beats, I channeled my inner Mira to craft an intimate 2-hour set that brings in a mix of organic instruments, melodic, downtempo beats, and of course, Berlin soul. I threw in a few tracks from some of his favorite artists as well ;) Full of emotion, grit, sexiness, a bit of nostalgia and deep, full-hearted love, I hope you find yourself grooving and moving to this very special set made for my favorite person on earth <3

Today we have something very special for you, our very first back-to-back set! @juso_dj and @interplanet have prepared a brilliant mix for us today.

Italian-born DJ and rocket scientist Ilario (aka Interplanet) discovered his passion for electronic and techno music when he moved to Bremen in 2010. In 2013 he moved to London, where he began organizing techno parties two years later.

In 2018 he founded the Solitary Hounds Collective with three of his DJ/scientist friends. Together they created “Timeloop” – a series of techno events held in various North & East London settings, ranging from intimate warehouses to underground venues.

Since his debut at Burning Man 2019, Interplanet has been playing at underground events all across Europe.

Our other guest DJ on the desks, Juso, with a background in rock’n’roll music, jumped into the world of electronic music in 2016 following a life-changing event. He collected stories in the European underground music scenes and began to unfold his own when he started DJing in 2018. 

In 2020 Juso gave birth to the Beats of Balance project: a fusion of the spiritual practice of vinyasa yoga with a tailored musical flow.

His signature style is Melodic/Ethereal Techno and Deep/Progressive House but his musical journeys can evolve into an unbounded space.

Now both living in Amsterdam, the two Italian characters Juso and Interplanet love to blend their musical flows. They deliver complex mixes due to their affine yet complimentary styles. For the Karismatik Podkast, they merged their souls into a desert-infused cocktail of exotic melodies.

Max TenRom was born in Toulouse, the famous pink city in the south of France. He started playing music at a very young age, learning his piano skills through jazz. Once he became comfortable with the piano, he shifted his focus to synthesizers and acoustic drums. As a result, he naturally began to explore electronic music production.
He uses his many influences to create his own art. Max navigates between an organic and exotic Downtempo style and some Deep & Melodic Techno sonorities. In any case, the most important thing is to transmit emotions.
