Latest single ‘Avarice’ is the opening track from Throwing Snow’s powerful Mosaic LP. Beginning with discordant, layered strings and a heady drone, a sparse beat propels it forward, heavy with atmosphere and mood. The release also features hard-hitting VIP versions of ‘Avarice’ which you can hear here and ‘As You Fall’, the latter featuring London-based songwriter and visual artist Py, both of which were developed for the dancefloor as Throwing Snow took his live show around the world. Finally, AUS label owner and !K7 A&R Will Saul & production partner Komon offer up a remix of ‘Hypnotise’, with Kid A’s vocals swirling around a dark, propulsive beat.

The first single to come from Elderbrook’s upcoming Talking EP is Woman. The laid back pace is matched with pitched-down chopped vocals, contrasting with the wistful lyrics. It’s produced by Craven J, but exemplifies Kotz’s unique approach to being a singer and a producer; “phonetics are as important as lyrics. My voice adds another percussive element to the sounds.”
