He clamped his eyes shut. Sweat cascaded down his face in sheets, it approached, slithering and rolling, picking up dirt in its tenticles. He held his arms out, this was his purpose, a sacrifice to be devoured by the eternal thing, to become part of infinity. He felt a slimy, wet tentacle wrap around his ankle. It felt like his foot sneezed.Thick sucking sounds enveloped his world and soon he would know ecstasy. His head stung, blinding white light made his eye water, and there was immense pain. His smile turned as his thoughts raced and fear devoured him. This was not love but madness, malice and eternal anger. This is why he was bred, this is why he was raised. To be devoured.
