Ask any electronic music producer worth their salt and they’ll all tell you the same thing: soul truly is at the heart of what makes music so special. One man who encapsulates this feeling is Michael Bihler aka HDSN. From disco to house to jazz to hip-hop, the owner of the aptly-titled NBAST (Nothin’ But A Soul Thing) label is an individual whose sound is always well versed in uplifting vibes and dancefloor dynamics. 

HDSN’s story can be traced back to a childhood spent in Halblech in Germany’s Bavaria region. Although far from a typical electronic music backdrop, the youngster grew up on a steady diet of eclectic sounds. However, it was the music of the Motor City which helped turn his musical hobby into a full-blown obsession. The music of Omar S, Moodymann and Theo Parrish might be far removed from the picturesque surroundings of Bihler’s hometown, but they nonetheless played a profound effect on the youngster’s tastes. 

From Halblech, Michael moved to Munich, before decamping to Manchester soon after. Enamoured by the city’s bright lights and party scene, he might have been traversing an unfamiliar path for a German musician, but his time in the north of England would prove invaluable, as it was here where he set up his studio and embarked on his most ambitious project to date: the aforementioned NBAST imprint. 

Churning out a range of well-received tracks at an impressively prolific rate, HDSN soon found his music signed to celebrated labels such as Eton Messy, King Street and Nite Records. From here, the producer embarked on a more traditional journey, settling in Berlin for a year and honing his craft in the global capital of all things electronic music before re-locating to Munich last year. 

The next while already looks promising for the fledgling producer, with digital and physical releases on his own imprint, NBAST. Always keen to push emerging new artists, the label has housed music from HDSN himself and a number of equally promising artists. As the producer says himself, ‘NBAST is a project that’s not only about music, but also about art, culture and social coexistence. It’s a home for everybody that wants to be part of, without any guidelines or inter human barriers. Because at the end of the day, it is nuthin’ but a soul thing’. 

Supported by DJs as diverse as The Black Madonna to Jacques Renault to Joseph Capriati, HDSN has also DJ’s alongside a veritable array of renowned talents, not least Moodymann, Radio Slave, Olver Dollar, Legowelt, Suzanne Kraft and Oskar Offermann. A musician with a far-reaching appeal who continues to earn plaudits thanks to his unpretentious and refreshing approach to electronic music, chances are you’ll be seeing HDSN’s name on a flyer near you over the coming months.

The Berlin-based producer, dj and label owner Luca Olivotto focuses his craft on independent and aesthetic electronic dance music genres.

His labels Small Great Things and Endless Music aim for originality and creativity, boasting well-crafted music with character.

Luca had a musical upbringing having learnt the keys as a child he then went on to start producing music ten years ago with multiple releases under his belt.

Luca’s productions and sets range from house to disco, but experimentation has always been at the forefront of his ambition. His sound is very recognizable due to his unique sense of melody, harmony and compositional techniques utilized in all major works of his oeuvre.

Luca has released solo works on Labels such as Endless Music, Small Great Things., Berlin House Music, , Honey Butter Records, Miura, Dobro, Sengiley Wax, Inhale / Exhale, The Basement Discos and many others.

He's also the promoter and resident of the Berlin known event series "Small Great Garden" and "Small Great House"

Studio Pandora was created thanks to the experiences of TivoliVredenburg in recent times. A souvenir of the COVID era, which artist Dewy Elsinga has turned into a colourful and warm headquarter, by which we’d like to offer a kickstart to starting, experimenting and often local creatives.

Inland Knights AKA Andy Riley and Laurence Ritchie. Dj's, Producers and label owners of Drop Music, Borrowed and Raise Recordings.

Ritchie and Riley hail from Nottingham UK, a city with a rich musical legacy, particularly for House Music.They met in '93 and cut their teeth Dj'ing for Smokescreen, the renegade sound system from which they drew their early inspiration. Smokescreen consisted of dj's, lighting people, sound people, a truck, a P.A, a generator and general helpers. Old warehouses, woodland, fields, quarries and houses were utilized with the sole intention of having a good time.... for free! By the mid 90's smokescreen could guarantee a crowd of hundreds in attendance at their parties, and their club nights became local institutions that ran for years with packed dancefloors, and still do to this day!

By '98 Laurence and Andy had made the inevitable step into production and the same year the Drop Music label was born with the release of 'Inland Knights vol 1'. As Inland Knights Riley and Ritchie undertook a busy recording schedule to write tracks for Drop (almost all of the early output was entirely Inland knights, despite many monikers). Drop Music has gone on to become one of the most highly regarded house labels in recent years(with 67 plus releases to date), and Inland Knights have gone on to become one of the most respected production outfits in the house world, regularly taking on remix and Ep duties for fellow labels and producers. Highlights include the acclaimed 'Mohammed Ali' remix for Faithless on Cheeky Records, CD compilations and remixes for NRK and Om Records, three Ep's on 2020 Vision, Inland Knights first full length album entitled 'Creative Spaces', and more recently, Inland Knights album to mark 10 years of Drop Music entitled 'Dust till Dawn', not to mention countless Ep's on other labels over the years.

Currently, as well as remix, production and Label commitments, the pair maintain a busy international Dj'ing schedule, and can be found most weekends playing somewhere in the UK or Europe, as well as regular visits to the U.S, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. Laurence and Andy also record under the alias's Larry Fives and Toka Project respectively.
