Cécille Records presents the debut project and album from Cabin Luv Affair late June, the new guise from a well known regular on the imprint who shall remain anonymous and allow the music to speak for itself. This new project will mark a shift in Cécille's output as the long running and widely beloved label steps embraces the long player format, one which allows artists to delve deeper into their influences and showcase a diversity of styles. Something which is perfectly encapsulated here with this new project by Cabin Luv Affair. Across the thirteen track album, Cabin Luv Affair offers up an amalgamation of styles from the smooth Parisian and filter House feels of tracks like opener 'Vida (Intro), 'Naked In Love (Pimpin Ain't Easy Mix) and 'Feelin' Good But Lonely' through to more classic Disco-tinged House cuts like 'Right Or Wrong', 'Lo Que Soy' and closing track 'To The Moon And Back'. Also on offer are some tracks aesthetically deeply rooted in raw house music in its purest form, like the dreamy chord and crisp rhythm fuelled 'Mirror In Mirror', the swinging, bumpy groove of the aptly titled 'Magic Ride' and the bouncy, swinging drum groove, soaring vocals and choppy stab sequences making up 'Over Your Face'. Cabin Luv Affair also throws in some playful interlude like tracks with 'Follow The Path (Skit)' and the low-slung hip-hop tinged 'Play The Game (Skit)' to truly capture the sonic exploratory feel a long player format allows.

Italian, Ibiza-based Tuccillo delivers his new album ‘Nite Stories’ via his own House Of Tucci imprint this July, comprised of eight original compositions. 
Giuseppe Tuccillo, better known under the latter half of his name has become a widely beloved figure in the global underground over the past decade with his records for the likes of Kaoz Theory, Kwench, Nu Groove, Holic Trax and Melodeum finding their way into many a DJ’s record bag. Now though it’s back to his own imprint, House Of Tucci, marking the labels eighth release with a longer player format coming in the shape of the aptly titled ‘Nite Stories’.
Through this project Tuccillo harkens back to the golden age of House music and its deep roots which helped him fall in love with the genre in the first place, opener ‘Go Back’ perfectly sets the tone with funk infused bass and guitar licks, swinging drums and vocal chants. ‘Forget’ then lays down hazy chord and stripped drums with pitched vocals before ‘Sing For You’ explores a more jazzy territory via wandering keys, soulful vocal lines and
organic percussion. ‘Runaway’ then edges into a more jacking Chicago feel with twitchy synths, crunchy drums and hooky male vocals. ‘Push’ sees Tuccillo heading back to a sound he’s very well known for with tribal percussive loops and a bouncy bass line while ‘Outta Control’ captures the true essence of
sample heavy house. ‘Images’ then dives back into more tribal realms accompanied by dreamy atmospherics and plucked bass tones before ‘All My Luv’ concludes the project, offering up a swinging rhythm section, bright vocal chants and an amalgamation of intertwined keys, strings and bass ebbing and flowing throughout.

For this new release, HMiT Records changes the format and presents its first various artists compilation, dedicated to House music, featuring four producers from the Toulouse scene.

“All I Want” by Laurian includes all the elements of 90s classics with prominent use of the 909, while “I Feel Brand New” by Dale Cooper (marking his debut as a producer) falls into a garage house vein, halfway between New York and London. Flau. C delivers a deep, mental, and progressive track with “My Heart, My Soul,” reminiscent of Mr. G. Finally, “Pour le trac” by Hayon is a sort of ode to synthesizers and analog machines.
