"Quicksand" is a haunting mix of dark Hypnopop, Hyperpop, EDM, Glitch House, and Shoegaze, enriched with cinematic and orchestral layers. The song features dynamic transitions and a hypnotic immersive soundscape. The lyrics convey a sense of struggle and entrapment, using imagery of sinking and being pulled into quicksand to illustrate the emotional depth of the narrative.
