Ricky Razu is one of Belgium's new breed of rising house producers who come from a vast background of jazz, boogie, hip-hop and disco and through the amalgamation of these various styles, he is quickly making name for himself.

Ricky's swing is quite unique, he has been putting his own twist and interpretation on the regular house track by joining the dots between yesterday’s golden era classics and today’s club bangers. As one of Houseum's mainstays, he has also built up a solid presence behind the decks, becoming a regular player in the Belgian and international house scene. During the past years, Ricky’s prolific output has also allowed his sounds to propagate all over the globe, which culminated in a worldwide repertoire of gigs from Europe to the US and Asia. The man has also garnered support from the likes of Jeremy Underground, Bellaire and Subjoi, to name a few, and with his new projects in the pipeline, the future is looking bright for him.

Houseum Records Mixes | Ricky Razu

Marc Brauner is a producer and DJ born and raised in Berlin. He started playing drums when he was five and practiced for 8 years while playing in a percussion band. As a teenager he discovered producing music with the computer and started to make his first hip hop beats. Later in 2009 he was introduced to house music and found his passion right away. 

His production range goes from Classic House to Deep House, Break Beat up to genres like Trip-Hop or Electro. Since then he had several club and open air gigs in his hometown Berlin & in citys like New York, Miami, Paris, Copenhagen, Rome, Barcelona, Geneva or Yerevan. Besides the club scene he produced music for fashion brands and composed music for television formats where he expressed his musical variety. In the beginning of 2017 Marc released his first Solo Album „Turn Nothing To Something“ on Pentagonik before he joined forces with Christian Rütz to form their live house, hardware only project: "Traffic Report" and released their debut album "Traffic Jams" on Dec. 2017. Following that in 2018 he released a 4 track EP, remixes, singles & joined Houseum Records from France in 2019 for his debut vinyl EP "Sad But Ambitious" and released his second record on the label with Ricky Razu called "Two Of A Kind". Besides that he launched his own Label "Nostalgics" in 2020 with a vinyl Split-EP featuring Tender Games that is out now. Just recently he joined Shall Not Fade for 2 EP‘s in the first half of the year 2021 and another one to follow soon. Up next are records on labels such as Happiness Therapy, Satta, Small Great Things and more.

Hugo Horwood (Holo himself) is originally from Melbourne and recently moved to Berlin. His music draws from unexpected genres, including pop, classic rock, acid and 90s hip hop, to create a sound that is truly his own.

The Australian producer burst onto the scene in 2019 after seeing his first track 'Atlas' uploaded on the Houseum YouTube channel and after releasing his debut EP of the same name, with house music heavyweight UK label Shall Not Fade’s sub-label Lost Palms. The EP featured the deep house classic ‘In My Dreams’ that earned over 3 million streams on Houseum channel.

Hugo recently released two EPs on Houseum Records' sub-label Ellipse Records and on Noire & Blanche (Délicieuse Musique). He will play his first gig in Paris this month in September 2022 at La Java alongside Gavinco and HSM (Houseum). An album is in the pipeline on Houseum Records, stay tuned!

Chat Noir Rec. is very proud to announce the forthcoming release of the second volume of its House de France compilation. This new project will include 16 exclusive titles in digital and will be accompanied by the release of a "Vinyl Sampler ”which will include 6 titles from the digital version. Tracklisting is inspired by the 90s mixed compilation’s model: it is built like a DJ set with an evolution and coherent sequences between the tracks.

The project aims to show the diversity of the new French house scene by highlighting different sub-genres of this movement: ambient, deep-house, tech-house, acid, minimal,italo-disco, electrofunk… The artists present on this compilation represent the future of our scene and we are very proud to push them forward.

Artists' names will be revealed on October 2nd!
