No Sir joins the Faux Poly family with their new EP ‘Voyeur’, a release full of rich syncopated percussion and expressive soundscapes that document the artists’ evolving perspective on club spaces and home listening.

The record leans towards sub heavy broken beats, resulting in a confident contribution to the flourishing NYC Bass scene. Despite being based in Brooklyn, No Sir has already broken ground in Europe with singles on 3024 & W133.

“I started producing this EP at a really challenging moment last summer after I got a concussion that left me pretty much bed bound for a month. During this time I also quit drinking, so my relationship to music and going to clubs saw a complete overhaul. This EP is my attempt to find a space in between the hours spent at my quiet apartment and my return to these loud, dark spaces I see as another kind of home. Within the transformations of their meticulous processes, London duo Kassian become a vessel for alchemy: filtering and distilling scores of stems, samples and layers until something richer and more complex than the sum of its parts emerges. Phase Two EP is their first outing for !K7. 

Lead single “X-303” recontextualises the sci-fi inspiration of its name, forging a new style of interstellar acid. A driving kick drum holds steady through a track which oscillates between contrasts.

This EP from German duo @not-even-noticed is a music production lover’s dream. Honestly, the sound design and production levels are just beyond belief in my opinion. Needless to say, they have been on heavy rotation since I first received the demos and they aren’t anywhere close to getting old yet.

They somehow straddle the line between beautiful soundscapes and absolute face melting, eyes rolling back, grabbing the person next to yours’s shoulders heat. Does that even make sense? Well I think you get what I mean.

The EP is out next Friday the 21st.

HHANDS024 - not even noticed - Don't You Dare EP (Clips)

Elusive techno silhouette Yaleesa Hall drops three new ones for their very own Dutch label Will & Ink. High-tempo techno and electro with the occasional sprinkling of EBM essence, this trio of tunes are as jackhammery as they are dreamy, with 'Newman' providing the gloomy foretaste; 'Shanks' the dreamy, electrified meat-on-the-bone; and 'Williams' the rapturous coda. Forever pushing the envelope, Hall hits with rapid fire, synth heavy techno to glitching, low-end electro and atmospheric electronica.
