For the label’s third LP release, @oathy are extremely proud to present this extraordinary sonic journey from @jaschahagen, one which continues to showcase the producer’s penchant for defying expectations and finding consistency in flipping switches and moving from one form of expressionism to the next.

Who doesn’t love a record which seamlessly moves from one side of the audial spectrum to the other, whilst seemingly filling in all the gaps that persist inbetween? Well, this has been the career trajectory that Jascha Hagen has set himself out on since 2008, and his discography speaks for itself in this regard. Operating within the realms of House and Deep House, Hagen has made it his mission to push out the boundaries of what feels possible within the genre, deconstructing the meaning of rhythm and melody to really stamp his own sense of identity on proceedings. Each release speaks to this concept, with differing tones and beats stretched out and impeccably built upon as a means to provide an enriching experience and, first and foremost, a balanced and beautifully curated one. His ability to weave the notions of the house into other genres has become more prevalent in recent years, taking Downtempo and Techno-leaning vibrations into his already deeply engrossing sound.

With releases on imprints such as Shh, Auditive, Mana All Nite, and his own imprint Physical Pleasure, there is so much goodness to dive into if you like your House music ever shifting and ever illuminating, along with the comforting knowledge that the next release will only add to the ever engaging soundscape Hagen has conjured up so far.

Two years after his debut LP effort, ‘Harmonies Romantiques’, Hagen graces us with the presence of ‘Songs for a Future Generation’. Continuing with a similar vein of musical exploration that occurred on his debut LP and records such as the highly vibrant ‘A Touch of Cold Water’, Hagen turns on the style in regards to creating a deeply compelling series of sounds that all for one but deeply individual all at the same time, with the micro evolutions that occur throughout giving much over to the idea of creating a rounded and fulfilling experience. The album begins and ends with two uptempo numbers in the form of ‘QQQ’ and ‘Slide Through the Valley’, both of which allow for a release of sorts through the inspired use of live instrumentation and the layering of elements that makes the music feel so very alive. Quiet spaces are found in the cuts ‘Rivers of Absence’, ‘Too Far’, and ‘Swaying’, all of which persist between the rhythms impeccably and act as these thoughtful, beautified interludes that touch upon the question - what will the future look like? All of which is answered in three differing tonal ways. ‘L7 Dreams’, ‘Gem’, and ‘XX Blues’ all shift between the other vibrations, exploring in their own exciting ways a very conceptual manner of being, and it caps off the experience beautifully.

Jascha Hagen has always had a knack for making the extraordinary feel effortless, the in-sequential feel complete and whole, and the wide-reaching feeling laser-focused and total. This new record is a testament to these notions, and from the moment you press play until the record wraps itself up, there is a deep satisfaction to be had, a journey that merits revisiting time and time again. So why not take a little meander, and loose yourself within an audial experience of such quality…

As the red curtain lifted they were presented with a million whirring lights and the flashing bangs of a drum. One solitary vocalist boomed out across the system, elegant tones built for more than a downtown theatre. The place was falling apart. Cracked ceilings and marked floors, this was not a place of luxury but a dive of demise. The singer was alone, but not alone. 

Long Island Sound are a Dublin via Berlin duo who have crafted a niche for their intricate take on house and breaks, picking up a firm fan base of followers and support along the way. A new EP is set for release on Signs Of Space, a crafty affair.

The label will launch in October, after 2 years as an event brand. On this occasion, RADI MIRA I LUBVI will host a soft launch party, which will take place on October 16 at Community Moscow, featuring four artists from the release and a special surprise.
In keeping with tradition, the team will go above and beyond, label friends will help create the RML fantasy universe at the party . The lighting of the main stage will be conjured up by LUCH, the courtyard will become a performance point for street artists Dufon and Bla85, and an audiovisual installation from the Artnovi team will come to life in one of the rooms.
In the additional location, a charity flea market will be organized - but not the standard one. Everyone will be able to bring with them a once favorite thing, feelings for which have already cooled down, and attach it to the walls of the room in exchange for a RML gift. The collected patchwork will be recycled into an art installation. In addition, the flea market will have several stands with things for sale. All funds will go
to “Дети.pro“- a charity project to support children in need.
A few words from Egor Kandyurin (Creator of the RML brand)...
“...Our philosophy is quite simple and fits into three words understandable to everyone. FOR PEACE AND LOVE. This is our prime meridian, the line from which every new plot of ours begins. The denominator to which we strive to bring everything in the end. Like our entire project, the label is about uniting.
We have created a story and we have a lot to tell musically, without striving to fit any formats. We hope that we will succeed in this - to go beyond and do something new and interesting. Talking about plans today is to make God laugh like never before, but we still keep in mind the showcase tour, and something big this summer. Also, we already have a pleasant release schedule and interesting material for the label. And, of course, the label will continue to give back to the community; 10% of the profits will be sent to buy essentials for our partner social organizations. I think in the future we will be making charitable releases, all profits from which will be spent on supporting those in need!”
RADI MIRA I LUBVI is a young creative association from Russia from the founders of Community Moscow. It brings together artists, musicians and people whose life principles are united by the slogan “For Peace and Love Sake”. Emerging in February 2019 and hosting 10 major events - including an interactive festival in the Pharmaceutical Garden, an electronic stage at a city festival in Kazan, organization of a Moscow showcase for the legendary ALL DAY I DREAM brand, a sub-event at the Signal festival of music and architecture. RADI MIRA I LUBVI brought a number of world-famous artists to Russia: Jan Blomqvist, Stavroz, Viken Arman, YokoO, Birds of Mind, Nico Stojan, Parallells , BONDI, Bora Uzer, Kerala Dust, Sam Shure, Serge Devant, KMLN, Anastacia, Bloem, Feathered Sun, The Sorry Entertainer, Audiofly.

The team is actively involved in a number of charitable projects, both regular and one-off. RADI MIRA I LUBVI created a social store with the concept of “one for one” (buying a thing for oneself, the second one is sent to those in need). At the festival in the Pharmaceutical Garden, a charity auction was held where it was possible to purchase works by young artists, assembled a huge patchwork stage with H&M from items for recycling, participated in a charity flea market for the House with Mayak and in the Moscow marathon in support of Sofia Domik.

Carved out of the deep underbelly of driving electro, beautiful landscapes come to the surface in this 8 track journey Influx EP by DJ .wav. The turbulence of rumbling yet metered rhythms and icesharp staccato basslines, layered with FM-synth pads, are only just some of the blended elements this artist, who has released on the labels a friend in need and Special Species Records. The release,
by German-based label Too Rough 4 Radio’s Rough Cuts 04, captures club energy with joint forces in moody electro bliss for effective dancefloor weapons for all environments.

Translucent and ethereal are not the most common words associated with an effective electro cut, but this track (“Abyssal Zone”) by DJ .wav delivers both with invigorating momentum. The
hypnoticism of evocative female singing, reminiscent of Aphex Twin’s “Xtal,” combined with crisp electro hi hats and straight synth lead arpeggios, make a great selection for reigniting a second wind
on the dancefloor.
