Our next premiere comes from the illustrious Urulu. Following a run of remarkable releases on Voyage Recordings, Kalahari Oyster Cult and his own Amadeus imprint, Urulu steps up for the next release on Copenhagen’s renowned Tartelet Records. Fusing elements of electro, jungle, old school rave and house with his own signature style, Urulu presents a thrilling collection of club-friendly tunes.

Our pick of the bunch is Destino Tikal, a percussive roller for the late hours. Pairing a rolling bass, 4/4 strut with a slew of percussion and no shortage of groove, Destino Tikal starts off with tribal energy. Bongos, triangles, maracas & shakers, you name it, Destino Tikal’s got it. As things get going, groovy stabs shimmer and stutter, distant vocals fade in and out & keys bounce all over in an irresistible groove. Just when you though it couldn’t get any better, the bass fades out one last time. From the abyss come delicate strings, and those once distant vocals emerge from the shadows. With the final drop, all elements reunite in an eruption of energy that’ll shake any dance floor. A no-fuss party starter that appeals to both body and soul, Destino Tikal is a bonafide club tool. After eight months without releasing any music, we are back for our first vinyl EP format : Love Ensemble EP - APRH003 ! We are extremely delighted to share this one with you as we already had early support from Black Loops, Harrison Bdp, Carlo & Flabaire <3

But who is Love Ensemble ?

It's a House music quintet founded towards the end of 2018 in Berlin. Consisting of https://soundcloud.com/horsemen_music, https://soundcloud.com/nephewsmusik and https://soundcloud.com/dimsum-aprh, both duos and the swiss man all met ahead of the second release of Apér’House Recordings. From that point on, they noticed that something needed to be done with the mixture of their respective musical directions.

A few months after their first gig at MS Stubnitz in Hamburg, they decided to go on a journey deep in the woods of brandenburg, Germany. The unexpected happened, and the love spreading boyband came up with a 4-track EP that will be set to release in June 2019.

Love Ensemble’s musical identity oscillates between the raw house feeling and micro-house vibe to deliver an ethereal club atmosphere. Respective owners of: Twofivesix Records, Metro Beirut & Apér’House

The “Revival” VA compilation will be released on the 30th of October on Bandcamp and will be offered digitally.
