Parisian Abe's productions fit perfectly with https://soundcloud.com/ROITrecordings's trademark fresh and melodic aesthetic and provides yet another slammin' offering from the Istanbul based label. Abe's alternate moniker, KEMT has taken the world by storm, mixing melancholic vocals with distorted House grooves, and helms one of the go-to names for your dose of raw Lo-Fi house. 

Here, as Abe, he delivers a more gentle take on House music, with a wonderful mixture of Soul and Disco amalgamated with his signature Lo- Fi analogue percussion. The EP opens with this feature's 'Forgive Ain't Easy': straight 4/4 cut driven by sampled vocals and soulful piano melodies - one for a dusky summer evening and everything that befalls after.

She had a sort of magic beauty which one does not stumble upon too often, at least not around these parts anyway. The ballroom was agast as they watched her perfectly orchestrated routine unfold before the judges eyes. This was to be her night and the audience sure as hell knew it.

@hugomarimusic is a name that should be new to your ears, but is not one to forget. Today we present a single from Hugo Mari’s debut record, which is to be released on the mighty @heistrecordings on 3rd December 2018. The five-track EP has three originals from the main man Hugo and two remixes on the B-side by none other than NDATL label head Kai Alcé. Previously Hugo had a string of releases as ‘Books’ on a variety of underground labels, including XVI, OMENA and his own label High Praise.  Much to our satisfaction, despite the name change Hugo is still making groovy soulful house jams. The whole EP is first class, and sits right at home on Detroit Swindles Heist Recordings. The track we have the pleasure of presenting is titled ‘Feel Ur Senses’.

The aptly titled B1, which has a repeated vocal chanting the mantra that is the title, is an emotive track that indeed tickles all the right senses. The drawn out chords have an almost sensual appeal which, when paired with the understated bassline, give you a warm and fuzzy feeling. The track continues to evolve with various elements being introduced throughout, such as different types of percussion and a rising lead synth that pairs perfectly with the established motif. Overall it is an expertly arranged piece and a big standout in the EP and as a debut for Hugo's new alias.

North London based Hugo is a busy man, between his time in the studio he’s promoting a night and running a label. Luckily he had some time to answer some questions about his release, production method and his future plans.

Le Hutin delivers here his 3rd EP, his 2nd under De La Groove banner. This EP definitively revolve around his every influences from 2-step, jazz, deep house or even ambiant of ways. He wanted to push his real capacities as a composer, and Inward Hellflip resolutely is an EP of strong composition.

3rd bangs in Aquarian Time, which also is the first release of Light Rhythms. The track is strongly sustained by complexe strings' lines, yet backed with some nice Organs and piano solo and paced in an upbeat tempo.
