Furious Frank returns to Butter Sessions with 'Ahora Sí'. The fully fledged house anthem is the result of a cross-continental collaboration with Barcelona based vocalist and producer Ivy Barkakati. 

We're treated to four versions of 'Ahora Sí', all tested and ready for the dance floor and those special moments! Kicking it off, Frank delivers his "Original Acid Mix". A deep, squelchy lurker with nods to late 80's and 90's house music, peaking with thick piano chords and Barkakati's deep Spanish vocals. On the 'Sunrise' mix, the piano and chords become the focus and set the mood for an uplifting journey, bolstered by the raw thump and jack of the drum machines. 

The flip side see's Barcelona based "IVAN" emerge with their version. The duo made up of Ivy Barkakati and Phran of Klasse Wrecks fame slow things down a touch, mangle the chords and inject the rhythm with flattering top-drawer percussion. Vancouver native D. Tiffany rounds the EP off with sub-heavy bass drops, hi-tek rhythms, euphoric vocal slithers and more stingin' acidic vibes.

Following on from a much successful debut EP last year, London-based producer @jeigomusic returns to @airmilesrecordings with his sophomore outing, 'Fluerella' - a catchy single supported by a triplet of most delectable revamps courtesy of Valby Rotary's Tom VR, Canadian vibist Ex-Terrestrial and US breaksy house maestro, @urulu.

London-based party throwers GODDEZZ venture into new territories with the launch of their eponymous record label. Hailing from Saint Petersburg, Russia, Maruwa has gone from strength to strength with a debut on Mall Grab's Steel City Dance Discs imprint and an EP for Lobster Theremin. True to form she showcases her highly potent, rave-influenced sounds as she contributes to the 23-track containing V.A. package with dreamy trance cut 'Ultraworld'.

Another X-Kalay OG returns to the label this summer and we couldn’t be happier :) It’s not a huge overstatement to say that Lucas’ first record on X-Kalay, “Ataraxia”, was somewhat of a milestone in the development of both artist and label, and it has been a huge pleasure to see him go from strength to strength since its release just over two years ago. These days it’s fair to say that Lucas is one of the most exciting young artists in the game - with a finely crafted knack for electro, and the 303 in particular, pretty much second to none. We’re super proud to welcome him back with his next effort - “Lifeforms".

The emotive opener is “Amongst us in Harmony” - steadily building through deep pads and bouncing arps, the now trademark Lou Karsh acid bassline ever present.

PREMIERE: Lou Karsh - Amongst us in Harmony [X-Kalay]

Following up his debut release on SOEX, Whitvoir welcomes local Warrandyte producer, Jon Jones to the label launch with ‘Airflow.’ -  a four-track expedition through something the label have coined, ‘Outback Trance’.

This premiere's, Phantom Spirit picks up the pace, encouraging sprinklings of the ones and twos, washy hats, rolling kicks and 80s toms throughout. Trancey synth lines combine with airy vocals, which pair up nicely with the wavy 303 line, keeping the track ever-evolving whilst bringing through the ethereal and otherworldly character that the title projects. A lovely number all round suitabe for all listening environments.
