Matthieu Faubourg @matt-schro, the upcoming French producer most known for his tune Please Stay makes his Neovinyl debut with arguably his strongest material to date. Widely considered a newcomer to follow, his name has circulated through deep house circles where he is praised for his unique approach to the sub-genre. In his signature style, Matthieu churns out three weighty cuts heavily influenced by classic deep house, jazz, and garage.

Bethnal Green kicks things off in club mode with thick sub bass chugging beneath expansive pads and jacking percussion. Both Parallel Lines and Less are also aimed at the club, but have a more relaxed feel, perfect as kindling for a dance floor fire, or for reducing one to embers. Closing things out is label co-founder @Baldo, who takes an airy, almost Balearic approach to Parallel Lines with his outstanding remix.

In it’s entirety, Matthieu’s EP is a highly functional package of deep club weapons that are sure to make an impact on global dance floors.

“I collaborated with the South Korean singer and artist ÜJEAN on this EP, with Marc Brauner remixing one of the tracks. I wanted to explore diverse influences, most of which had never been included in my music in the past. It's a versatile piece - and one that I'm very happy with!” - Crowd Control.

Crowd Control has been heading up Happiness Therapy since 2018, flying the flag for France’s underground music scene ever since. He marks his Delve Deeper Recordings debut with the upfront, no nonsense, deep house release ''Small Talk''. Giving a nod to the old school, 'Small Talk' is a relentless, bass heavy track with layered contagious synth lines and vocals creating a hugely infectious track.

Salzburg's @demuja has been building up a serious head of steam of late, with releases like 'Move' on Freerange doing serious business alongside bits on Let's Play House, Skylax and his own MUJA imprint. Matthieu Faubourg is an upcoming French producer who is quickly becoming one of our favorite artists to follow ever since he came out with his phenomenal tune "Please Stay" in 2016. If I had to point out one of the qualities that make us excited about his growth is the ease in which Matthieu is able to incorporate a variety of genres within his signature style. From deep-house to jazz and garage, Matthieu's sound falls on a wide spectrum of dance music that proves to us that he's an artist who won't be going anywhere anytime soon.

Neovinyl Recordings seem to know that and have decided to work with the young maestro again since his remix duties for Black Loops' classic "Higher." In their upcoming collaboration, Matthieu is set to release his first EP of this year titled Parallel Lines. The record will feature three new original songs from Mr. Faubourg as well as a remix from the Neovinyl boss man himself, Baldo. Luckily, we are premiering the title track from the release and we couldn't be more smitten with it. It's definitely the sort of song that's meant for the club but has a more relaxed feel - perfect as kindling for a dancefloor fire, or for reducing one to embers.
