Kiev House steps out with its first independent 12” to represent the most upfront and exciting talent coming out of Kiev.

Youngg P recently dropped the Carpathian Rave single on hotly tipped Russian label Private Persons. Now Morning Smoke provides an even deeper introduction to the artist’s immersive, psychoactive house music. 

From the title track’s tough drum lines and woozy atmosphere to “Lame Fetish”, which blossoms into life on a hazy bed of undulating chords and broken beats, and on to the spooky chimes of “Acid Tool,” this 12” marks a leap forward for both Youngg P and the wider Ukranian house music scene.
 
Italian producer Steve Murphy rounds the EP out with a sumptuous, dubbed out version of “Morning Smoke” perfect for the hazy early hours of the day the track title celebrates. 

Limited to 200 copies, it’s not a record to be slept on when it passes in front of you.
