After exploring talents in Europe, Mister T. records is returning with a blend of balearic and progressive house EP by Mahkina, formerly know as Alex Aguayo, from Mexico.

Mister T. records is extremely proud to unveil Alex Aguayo’s first release with his new alias Mahkina. Active for more than 7 years on the indie and electronic scene as Alex Aguayo, the Mexican DJ and producer is now introducing his new house / progressive project. “Sale Por El Corazon” stands as a clear definition of Mahkina : a tribute to the digital retro sounds and a hot touch of tropical/salsa style rhythms.

 “Good Old Moments” acts as a bridge between the change in Alex Aguayo style that could be seen in his latest release on Fauve Records and the actual Mahkina project. The balearic nostalgia is inherent to the sounds which remains a very sweet tool for dancefloors thanks to its fast rhythm and the warmth of the dub techno influenced stabs.

PREMIERE : HouseHeadz00 - Desire (Original Mix)

We were absent for almost a year in search of finding genuine sounds, causalities that accompany us so that the return of new beats to the label has a reason for expansion, we get tired of using up the eleven commandments that we left behind, and for the return of fresh music . In our musical house, this great Chilean artist with a new AKA lover of analog sound brings us three tracks with different intentions and nuances, showing several of his musical facets.
Acid sounds, nineties, rock and electric sensations, added to a great remix to put the track ready for our new friend, Modaz.
What is interesting about this release is a rebirth for the three involved, the label returns after almost a year to releasing music, Alex Hub with his first EP in his change from AKA, and Modaz who returns to release music after years . of inactivity on networks looking to find the beautiful sound he is dabbling in. The joy is total.

Landing exactly one year later, Jennifer Loveless's 2023 anthem 'Pleasure' gets twisted with three dynamic reworks and a dub mix, taking the original vision into new sonic territory.

Parisian DJ / producer extraordinaire Bambounou pumps out a jackin' version to fire things up. Next up, the Lisbon-based veteran tINI gives a nod to old-school electro in a fresh bass-heavy offering. Bliss Point is proud to present Ta Kish Kan, an EP from DJ, producer and multidisciplinary artist Sol León. Ta Kish Kan is their debut release as aka-Sol, a name that consolidates many years of creativity, collaboration and exploration through various monikers and projects.

Ta Kish Kan is an explosion of color, a defiant rush of life. Over three tracks, aka-Sol has turned their psychedelic approach to sound toward the punk roots of electronic music, employing modular synthesizers and analog sonics to recapture the energy from before dance became homogenized and hard genre lines were drawn, challenging the conventions of modern club music and embracing a wider and more dynamic spectrum of human emotion.

A fearless debut, Ta Kish Kan is an offering bursting with heart and dripping with lust, a love letter and a provocation, a rare invitation to hairwhip and headbang in the club. The release is rounded out with a remix from Osare! Editions head Elena Colombi who further explores the space between experimental, post-punk and club music, dispensing with comfort and bidding us to embrace what lies beyond.

Barcelona-based DJ Gamba is up next on Stay At Home Records with two soul-infused tracks. His trancey, dreamy production evokes a primal human feeling, full of pure emotion and the hope that dreams (A1. Toi Mon Rêve) can come true through beautiful sound. The tracks radiate a bright, sunny vibe (B2. Le Soleil), as if you’re dancing on an uninhabited island, surrounded by your loved ones.

Label owner Adrien Calvet pairs the split EP with a perspective of sound that is more raw and straightforward, with heavy, groovy basslines and catchy, bouncy synths. The producer continues evolving, as the general sound of his production is more trancey than his previous projects, showing a constant evolution and eagerness to break all musical boundaries.

One could say that the EP is split between the Yin and the Yang, with Adrien Calvet being the more ethereal persona and DJ Gamba the dreamer and uplifter.
