 Housse De Racket made their name as musicians for hire in Paris. Victor and Pierre have previously worked with Phoenix, Air, The Teenagers, Chilly Gonzales and Benjamin Diamond (Stardust), either as session guys in the studio or live on stage.

• Forty Love, Housse De Racket's debut album was produced by Gonzales and Renaud Letang. They also produced Peaches, Feist, Jamie Lidell. It is a concept album about giving up a glittering career in tennis to win the love of a girl, by forming a band. Forty Love contains recent French Top 15 hit single, Oh Yeah!

• Oh Yeah! will be released in the UK as two digital EPs and a limited edition 7" featuring remixes by the new breed of production talent from across the World including Keenhouse (USA), Bestrack (France), Barretso (Chile), The Lowbrows (Japan) as well as more established names like Tonka (Germany) and Chilly Gonzales (Canada).

• Forty Love will be released in the UK in August 2010, and will come with a bonus remix album.

• First UK single, Synthétiseur was released on the renowned 50 Bones label, and became one of the most blogged tracks of 2009, even bigged up by Kanye West on his Universecity blog.

• Victor and Pierre are currently recording their second album in France. It's being produced by Philippe Zdar, whose production work includes Phoenix, The Rapture, Sebastien Tellier, Tiga and Cassius.

On 30th October, French duo Housse de Racket unleash their third album, The Tourist, through !K7 Records. The LP consolidates the band’s dense sound and vast influences into something unique.

Coming back from their world tour that took them from Tokyo to Coachella, work began on The Tourist in 2013. It was entirely recorded in guitarist/vocalist Pierre Leroux’s new apartment, romantically located by the Paris landmark: Montmartre. As the band themselves put it, “How could we resist the Sacré-Coeur’s magnetic and hypnotic force?”.

The band’s previous album, Alesia (Kitsuné) was produced by Philippe Zdar, who had previously worked with the likes of The Rapture, Phoenix and The Beastie Boys and was critically acclaimed from all around the globe.

Housse de Racket describes their new effort as “a state of mind, a motionless journey,” and cites a wide range of inspirations for its songs: “We listened to Fleetwood Mac, Spacemen 3, XTC, Steel Pulse, Alan Vega, Ravel, Laurie Anderson, Miles Davis, Television…Everything we could get our hands on!”

The LP never sounds like an iPod playlist; Housse de Racket combines the sounds and locations that have affected them into a forty-minute masterclass in Gallic pop.

The Tourist is the sound of a group returning home, having seen the world, and trying to make sense of it all.
