Wyoming

The songs of New York-based singer, songwriter, and composer Dan Yurkofsky incorporate ideas from a number of music genres including folk and folk-rock, classical, and ambient electronic music.

His 2014 record "Hoverhill" is the first full-length collection of his songs. Although born in New York, many of the songs are inspired by life in northern New Mexico where he lived for several years. Dan is joined on Hoverhill by an eclectic mix of musicians from the New York music world including singer Melissa Stylianou, who sings the first track, "Wyoming", cellist Noah Hoffeld, keyboardist Anna Dagmar, and guitarist Matt Turk.
