lettre à la nuit

je me rappelle des toutes premières.

sûrement trop jeune, 

sans aucune limite, 

très insouciante, 

mes plus beaux souvenirs.

 

je ne me souviens pas de la dernière.

où était-ce ?

avec qui?

est-ce qu'on pensait déjà que le monde allait mal?

ou qu'il pourrait aller pire ?

 

il m'est vital de me souvenir, 

je veux me rappeler de tous les détails

que j'oublie pourtant trop vite, 

les mélodies, 

les lumières, 

les basses vibrantes,

et pourquoi j'avais choisi

de rentrer plus tôt.

 

je ferme les yeux, pour la faire revenir

 

la toute dernière avant la pause, 

la toute première remise en cause

de nos nuits interminables 

qui s'étendaient à l'infini,

 

de la chance que l'on avait 

de pouvoir se retrouver ensemble

pour célébrer, 

la nuit.

How many of us have tried to play a good mixture of the classic 4x4 structure and our dearest breakbeats? Many have tried, but very few do it like Thomas, a.k.a Random001. It is refined thumping that this guy provided I tell ya, two hours of deep hips teasing were brought together by the Marseille expatriate, now living in Paris. Dear mind of ours and eminent member of the media Noiseworkers, we are proud to present his work. His set is a solid oscillation between subtle structure shifts and clever uses of atmospheres. Including high-energy dub hitters and gritty sampled hypnosis, you have to give it a good listen!

Cet été, Radio Sofa installe sa Méridienne dans le nouveau booth du Top à @point-eph-m-re, le temps d’une résidence radiophonique estivale. Dans ce studio transitoire, orienté vers des univers phoniques non-dansants, nous recevrons sur six dates invité.e.s et résident.e.s pour des sessions exploratoires à écouter assis.

La Méridienne entend mêler, quelques après-midi durant, lumière zénithale et poésie sonore. Les sélections de nos convives, ouvertes au public, seront retransmises en direct sur nos ondes depuis les toits puis disponibles à la réécoute. Amateurs et amatrices d’ambiances lancinantes et de rythmes voluptueux, la Méridienne s’ouvre au grand jour le 3 juillet.

Radio Sofa sets its Méridienne on the roof of the Point Ephémère for a summer radio residency. In this transitory studio, oriented towards non-dancing phonic universes, we will receive guests and residents for exploratory sessions to be listened to sitting down.

La Méridienne intends to mix zenithal light and sonic poetry for a few afternoons. The selections of our guests will be open to public and broadcast live on our airwaves from the rooftop. Lovers of haunting atmospheres and voluptuous rhythms, La Méridienne opens on the 3d of July.
