Lucid Dreaming

This came out of a collaboration with my dear friend Julien Morency

At the time, I was seeking to describe the indescribable; a life experience that elicited feelings more intense than happiness, like the inexplicable emotions felt at the birth of one's first child, or one of those deeply transformational experiences that seem to expand out forever. I suppose it's best known as Joy.

Impossible to describe perhaps...
But here it is, with warm thanks to Julien @musicar for adding his heartfelt touch with Strings.

Wow!  It's been a very Long month since my last release on SoundCloud.
It seems like Forever. But here we Are!!! :D

It Delights me to announce the birth of my latest 'Musical Child', who I've named 'Tiramisu'. (Pronounced - Tear-ah-Mih-zoo.)  Her name alludes to what one might call a 'Pick-Me-Up'.  It comes from a delicious Italian Dessert made of Lady Fingers, Custard, Hazelnuts, and Chocolate! MMM mm m. ;) May She " Live Long and Prosper" ! :D

Tiramisu

This tune was inspired by the book 'Life Ascending' by evolutionary biologist Nick Lane of London College UK.  I've read it 3 times and highly recommend it. It'll really Blow yer Mind, and get ya thinking.  Very open ended,  with very little dogma, with mysteries aplenty.  Professor Lane invites us to actually participate in solving some of the deepest riddles of Life, from the microscopic to the macrocosmic. And yes.. the incredibly intelligent design inherent  throughout the entire spectrum of Creation reveals an overarching signature of beauty, practicality and  wonder that is awesome to contemplate.

Electronic music Influenced by electro pop, Jean Michele Jarre, Erasure, Vangelis, Mike Oldfield, Tangerine Dream, Klaus Shulze Berlin School. 

Got my first synth in 1977 a Korg 700S. In 1976 Had lessons on  a VCS3 in a music studio at Middlesex  Polytechnic at Crouch End London. 
 
Gone on to own various synths over the decades. 

Now retired making music for fun using mainly hardware synths.
