The 1980’s was a golden age for those of us of a certain age . There were still pupils of Pádraig O Keeffe actively playing in our locality  and they opened up a huge curiosity in us .
Each year on the June Bank Holiday in Kenmare  there was a brilliant Arts Festival called Cibeal Cincíse and it was here that we saw and heard the best musicians in Ireland . This festival was founded by Joe Thoma a fiddle player and his influence still resonates today , he showed us all that is good in the Arts world . 
This is an audience hand held tape recording ( after a long day ) so there is some chatter and noise but I hope you enjoy it like we did .

"Don't Blame Me" is a popular song with music by Jimmy McHugh and lyrics by Dorothy Fields. The song was part of the 1932 show Clowns in Clover and was published in 1933. Popular versions that year were recorded by: Ethel Waters (US No. 6), Guy Lombardo, and Charles Agnew.

Found some 78 rpm albums recorded by CKDM in 1952 of a band my dad was in. Still working on band members but we have George Zradicka (trumpet), Bruce Balchen (trombone), Vern Watson (alto sax), Ray Presunka (tenor sax), Dave Keel (sax), Eddy Balchen (Bass), Bud Hafsteinn (leader, sax, arranger)
