Hotflush On Air With Isaac Reuben - Episode #070

o•rbyss aims to help soothe the queer spectrum and focus on the well-being of the community. Queer DJs are invited to submit a mix to showcase an alternative side to their music library outside of a rave and take us on a meditative journey. ✨

Notes on the mix:

"For the mix I really wanted to play on 115 bpm but most records I own are around 130 bpm. I booked a session at friends house (Nick Clev) who has Technics sl1200mk7 that is double pitch so everything was slowed down to 115 bpm. On the day of the mix I wasn't feeling it so grabbed bunch of records (Electronica / Acid) with me and started on the spot with no idea where i wanted to go with it but in the end I'm super happy how it turned out. Enjoy x"

Icelandic wanderer, Fannar co-founded the meat party (VFD, RVT and currently residing at Dalston Superstore) 12 years ago and is a resident at Ziber and Happy Endings. A truly international spirit, this Viking adventurer has taken to the decks in Berlin (Sounds, House of Shame, Horse Meat Disco), Paris (Menergy, Andy Wahloo), Reykjavik (Kaffibarinn) and Copenhagen (Jolene).  In his current hometown of London, Fannar regularly plays the city's best parties Adonis and legendary venues including The Glory (Thirst Trap), DSS (Homostash), East Bloc (Gutterslut) Kings Arms and many more.  As part of Synth System Systers (Satellite, Sundeck Margate) Fannar also hosts a regular radio show (Satalite - Margate Radio).  A lover of different genres, his sets tend to be a mix of Disco, House and techno.  His mantra: 'Let's all dance'.
