only sound source is a recording from my firepace, from a disquiet junto prompt.

i had a fireplace recording from recent months. for this one, some few minutes of fireplace crackle is the only sound source, as in the fire few seconds. sampled and sliced, then some heavy and not-so-heavy manipulation. i tried to let the spirit of the recording come through enough here and there.

a frantic 5/4 reworking of a 4/4 track i've been working on this week. mellotron via m-tron pro iv. blackhole immersive, ds tantra 2 and imagiro autochroma pad things out in the return channels. at 30s, an ableton percussion rack (EFX Small Cymbals) starts playing out a morse code message: "kaufmann, you scumbag".
