Composed in 1992. A kind of study for "Romantic Landscape 1", inspired (unoriginally) by Hokusai's famous wave; a lot has changed since then.

Commercial music for a ballet. No synth, all music was developed by manipulation of a short sample of wind sound, recorded with a mobile phone by one of the dancers (see track night wind).

The whole music was developed in collaboration with the dancers whom I'd like to thank very much for their experimental daring… because this is definitely very unlike Nutcracker & Co!

Tels rit au main qui au soir pleure. Machault

German composer/arranger/music theory teacher. I am torn between the love for classical music from the middle ages to the late romantics, the admiration for the music of the 20th/21st century and the need to express myself sometimes directly through pop and comedy. Although my career as a pop comedian is limping a little at the moment due to my teaching career I still intend to write new pop songs.
But mostly I want to use this forum to document my "serious" compositions which are mostly microtonal. Influences are process oriented music, my teacher György Ligeti, my colleagues Manfred Stahnke, Mari Takano and Hubertus Dreyer (here: hdathome) and others.
