This 5th release on her own Herr Zimmerman label also has a great remix surprise coming from the New York underground artist The Horrorist.  Planned release date is 20 october 2014.

Fraulein Z dedicates this release to all the thousands of amazing party people, that have partied and supported the Herr Zimmerman club nights in the past years!

Influential DJ, producer and label owner Adam Beyer takes to his own Drumcode imprint to deliver his latest peak-time floor-filler in the collaboration with Bart Skils titled 'Your Mind'.

If you’ve caught a set from Adam Beyer recently, chances are you remember this track causing mayhem. ‘Your Mind’ is a banging new collaboration with Dutch talent Bart Skils, and it absolutely caught the attention of his Timewarp, Awakenings and Ultra set audiences with its haunting chorus chant. 

'Your Mind' is released via Drumcode on June 18.

It doesn’t get much bigger than this: Adam Beyer links up with Green Velvet and Drumcode’s outstanding rising star Layton Giordani for a debut collaboration.

Some musical partnerships feel fated. Both fans of one another’s work, for years Adam Beyer and Green Velvet had discussed writing music together. In turn, Beyer’s protégé Layton Giordani had admired the Chicagoan’s work for as long as he could remember. When the 25-year-old found himself playing alongside the green mohawked legend at Belfast’s Shine, the spark and subsequent friendship was immediate. With the links now set in place, it was only a matter of time before the trio’s creative chemistry would manifest musically.

‘Space Date’ was conceived organically and birthed quickly. Propelled by Green Velvet’s trademark vocal hypnotism, the triumvirate combine to craft a pumping intergalactic slice of techno laced in melody that’s highlighted sets by Beyer at Awakenings, Ushuaia and also EDC Vegas when Green Velvet dropped it to a raucous response. The track is complimented by ‘Rome Future’, the product of a year-long series of productions between Beyer and Giordani. Deftly combining crisp drum work, catchy vocal effects and a powerful bassline melody that gives the track an almighty kick, it will be familiar to many who’ve followed their sets over recent months.

Jasmine Azarian caught my ear with a DJ set a while back so I asked her to send some tracks over. The first two she sent were stunning - raw, emotive, warehouse anthems (no Hardwax you may not steal my description). ALKHEMY’s The Black Hole turns three years-old, and to celebrate, the Brooklyn-based collective has called upon some of the mightiest in the galaxy to create this dance floor-ready compilation. The 27 artists featured on this VA were invited to participate by combining their signature production styles with a Black Hole-inspired twist, to showcase a range of the world’s raviest sounds. Over a third of the participating artists have headlined The Black Hole for their US debut or NY debut, including, Scan 7, Plural (Kukri), Keepsakes, D. Carbone, 138, Axel Picodot and WarinD. Each providing a nostalgic glimpse into their respective journeys through Brooklyn’s favorite galactic rave. The remaining artists have brought forth their own unique sounds, creating an undeniably powerful collection of tracks that will leave a lasting mark on 2019.

The compilation is just as diverse as the dance floors at The Black Hole and as well as the lineups assembled by ALKHEMY. Proudly bringing artists from the US, South America and Europe together. Another example of the power that lays behind unity.

The cover art, which was inspired by the iconic flyers of The Black Hole, who are always put together by Danny Garber, was designed by Detroit legend, Alan Oldham aka DJ T-1000. Being that ALKHEMY’s mission is to highlight diversity in techno, Alan carried on the tradition of The Black Hole’s flyers where people of color and women are showcased in a powerful manner. Keeping the mastering mainly in-house, 80% of the tracks were mastered by ALKHEMY’s Buzzi.

For this latest entry into the LFRMX-catalogue Len Faki has chosen two synth-driven tracks of anthemic proportions. Reeko, also known as Architectural, with only one release under his Humano-guise, gets picked for its dramatic strings and larger-than-life stabs, slowly building towards a driving momentum, taking on the peak time with style.
The flip sports mainstay Inigo Kennedy, whose original track built heavily on atmospheric IDM-breakbeats, but works just as well with a straight corset issued by Faki, now highlighting the poetic synth work at its core even more.
