This EP displays a diversity of warm colours, travel stories and distant melodies.

Tantale is center piece of this release: a percussive and energetic story that started in Mexico and reached its full elevation when the inspiring Québec-based healer and musician Ra*faelle added her voice to Kora’s instrumental piece. Rooted in nature’s frequencies, she improvises in what she humbly describes as Earth Language. A mystical way of channeling nature’s vibrations into sound.

Sol Selectas is very proud to present this new single from Iranian artist Namito, who has made quite a name for himself over the years in the Techno scene of Berlin. For this single however, Namito creates a new twist on a Persian classic, creating a hypnotic deep house groove, with ethereal uplifting lyrics. The vocals take us on a journey to a time when Persian culture was at it peak of creativity and freedom. Namito heard this traditional song at a family gathering in Iran, sung by his 2 sisters Mojgan and Marjan, and was instantly moved by its beauty. He invited his sisters into the studio the very next day to record their vocals, and the result is “Stone Flower”. We are very excited to finally release this gorgeous track, which pays homage to the Persian tradition, while embracing the modern edge of electronic music at the same time.

The artwork by Helia Jamali, also of Persian decent, takes us into the mystical world of ancient scared geometry and displays the beauty of her home country Iran.
