I was something like 19 when I first heard the fiery horns of Fela Kuti's "Lady" on my friend Nicolas' speakers in my neighbourhood of Paris. This was the exact time when I realized that some artists were making mind-blowing music in the Southern hemisphere. My first "convincing" introduction to African music, to non-Western sounds. I went straight to one of the Virgin Megastore of Champs-Elysées (which doesn't exist anymore - and that's why I'm telling this story), unstuck a €3 price tag from a cheap item and stuck it on a Fela vinyl box set. This box set contained 6 albums including ITT. The guitar riff of this tune has been stuck in my ear since then.This ITT remix is my contribution to Fela's 75th birthday celebration. Long live Fela!

After a stellar debut performance at this year’s Coachella festival and two years since their chart-climbing ‘Benediction’ release, Hot Natured unleash new material for Emerald City with the anthemic ‘Off World Lover’ remixed by Will Clarke.

‘Off World Lover’ rides the path between discerning house anthem and enduring pop classic beautifully, the subtleties of Ali Love’s vocals masterfully executed amidst Hot Natured’s trademark futuristic analogue sounds. The labour and evolution of the band is evident in its simplicity and matured approach, and the result an instant classic. 

Rising Bristolian producer Will Clarke strips back ‘Off World Lover’ and shapes it for the club circuit through buoyant beats and voluptuous breakdowns, both set for release on Emerald City, the newest label venture from Jamie Jones and Lee Foss, on 18th September.

Arguably the biggest dance music act to break out of the underground circuit, with three well-acclaimed singles under their belt, ‘Reverse Skydiving’, ‘Forward Motion’ and ‘Benediction’, Hot Natured are a four-piece consisting of previously established and accomplished music producers Jamie Jones, Lee Foss, Ali Love and Luca Cazal. Since their debut album smashed the charts at the end of 2013 they have taken an eighteen month hiatus from releasing, burying themselves deep in the studio working on their follow up, set for release in 2016. 

The roots of Will Clarke’s sound stem from both his home town of Bristol, and his seasonal home in Ibiza, which have forged a style that fuses the best of Bristol’s bass elements with the upfront house music sensibilities of the white isle. His productions have appeared on labels such as Defected, Dirtybird, Southern Fried and he recently launched his own label, Cut A Rug.

After our first release via ZZK records 2 years ago, History of Colour, a collaboration project between El Búho and Barrio Lindo, returns with our second release, "Calidoso". The 4 track EP explores new sonic landscapes for us both, inspired by slow-dance and flitting between andean folk, marimba, electronica and organic sounds.

The music was co-created by Robin (El Búho) and Agustín (Barrio Lindo) in January over emails and Dropboxes between Buenos Aires & Mexico DF and mastered by our good friend Nicola Cruz based in Quito, Ecuador.

The artwork is a fragment of a gorgeous mural called called "Historia del tiempo" from Buenos Aires by the Argentine artist Elías Santis.

UYSR029 is the closing chapter of Remixes for Satori´s longplayer. Crussen from Norway kicks of with a pretty down beat mix of "Days Without You" which is pure fun for the morning hours. Amsterdam based Olaf Stuut instead did a driving mix of "The Wishing Spell" crossing borders between Techno and Electronica. Hraach from Spain put big emotions into his "Bad Looking Trouble" Remix - deep House with sensual strings. Chai Kowski has an Ukrainian ancestry hence his surname:  Tschaikowski. But he was born in Germany and producing music since 10-year-old. He has been  backpacking during two years. In that period had reserved a year to tour of the South America also Central America where he traveled to Bolivia, Peru, Colombia, Panama, Costa Rica & Nicaragua without time&plan&hurry. 
Since he's back in Germany he co-founded the https://soundcloud.com/conartism, a colletive  who come together to promote on a noncommercial level parties in the most craziest places under the open sky of Bremen, sometimes getting hunted from the police for it. It is a royal invitation to explore the urbanicity encompassed by music, where people can have fun, smile& experience unexploited sensations. Chai is also currently very excited about his first bookings for next summer festivals, gigs at Zurück Zu Den Wurzeln Festival and Zugvögel Festival.
This 29th edition was inspired by Chai's look-backing re-experience of his previous trip-trippy on South America. He remembered a lot of things which he almost had forgotten. He felt again the cold of the  Andes  biting his face in over 6000m &also heard the rain of the Amazon, recalled the dragging from Ayhuasca and  the blue&strong caribbean on his feet. In June they will have an EP coming out on Underyourskin Records featuring remixes by Canson & Monolink.
