First surfacing circa 2014, CABAL began with a run of warehouse parties to fill the void of House & Techno events in their hometown on the NSW Central Coast. From here the brand evolved building a community of both artists & friends who have all helped shape what the brand has become.

The CABAL collective have had the pleasure of locking down plenty of support slots & residencies close to home while venturing into Sydney & Newcastle for various events. Regularly playing host to launch parties for iconic brands such as Subsonic Music & Rabbits Eat Lettuce, the boys have also landed back-to-back slots at Mountain Sounds Festival, Rabbits Eat Lettuce and Subsonic Music Festival. 

Looking for further ways to share their love and taste for good music, their CABAL & Friends Podcast Series was born. Focused on delivering carefully curated mixtapes from  meticulously sourced local & international selectors, the series has seen inclusions from some of the finest locals Australia has to offer whilst also receiving stellar inclusions from artists from Germany, UK, Portugal, Russia and the US.

Label Manager of La Clap Records , he start to play at the age of sixteen in the south of france. That was the up comming of the rave party,he start to play some techno music with a couple off old schools figure. He's got his first residence in the famous «le club house»in the south of france,where he start to improve is music by playing some old groovy house music / techno. It's in 2000 that he discover the minimal with some labels like minus,perlon.... Some djs like richie hawtin,ricardo villalobos, create a real music buzz for him usually use as a loop. The big change in 2005,when he works in the vinyl dealer in Paris,that give him,the opportunity of being able to enjoy and learn about different electronic music...also to begin playing in all the biggest club of paris and around... in 2013 he created the Label & Parties LA CLAP

Herodot is standing out in the flourishing Romanian scene, with a style easy to recognise that bursts out in a general surrounding euphoria. Moving away from the minimal conventions and playing with a wider range of tempos, he sticks out with a style owed to a remarkable dedication to treasure digging, often leaning heavily towards forgotten bombs dating back to the 90s. Herodot’s selections are made with a palpable passion, covering a cultured variety of rhythmically playful and soul infused essentials. One of the most enlightening things about him is the way the Romanian DJ joins the dots between different genres of music, his sets being oftenly complemented by trip-hop elements, locking the dance floor into their groove. Herodot is among the first of his generation of DJs to earn a reputation for his love of this frenetic style, indulging more freedom and less boundaries in the process. In a scene where duality between mixing and producing is largely embraced, Herodot is engaging most of his energy towards playing, while supporting the development of the movement though its label Unanim and his acoustic engineering skills.

French artist, multi-instrumentalist, and producer, deeply immersed in the underground electronic music scene.

From an early age, he explored music through guitar, piano, and drums, later channeling his passion into electronic music. Over the past decade, he has performed at some of the most renowned clubs worldwide, including City Hall (Barcelona), Space, Privilege & Underground (Ibiza), Bar25, Trésor, C.D.V, Wilde Renate, Kater Holzig & Watergate (Berlin), and many more. His journey has taken him across Europe, South America (D-EDGE, CROBAR, SALON AMADOR) and the Eastern Bloc, with notable stops in Bucharest and Moscow.

Sharing the decks with artists such as Sammy Dee, Sonja Moonear, Nicolas Lutz, Ion Ludwig, Praslea, and Apollonia, his sound blends deep textures, intricate rhythms, and hypnotic grooves. His discography includes releases on esteemed labels like R&S Records (London), Ultrastretch, Subtil, Normandy Rec, Body Parts (digital album & vinyl EP), Silver Network, Sleep is Commercial, and most recently, Brique Rouge.

While his productions have been well-established in the scene for years, his focus remains on pushing the boundaries of sound design and refining his vision for the dance floor. Whether in the studio or on stage, he approaches music with the tact and commitment of a true artist, continuously evolving his craft with an ultimate goal of transitioning into film scoring.
