20 year old Gabriel Chanin is a singer/songwriter from Wiltshire, currently based in Manchester. From his early ambition to be a playwright, Gabriel eventually found songwriting as a means to channel his imagination into telling stories. Whether singing about the deeply personal or creating narratives from unique perspectives, Gabriel uses expansive melodies drawing upon his love for rock, pop and long experience in classical music to invoke emotions people can identify with.

After countless garage jams and D.I.Y. gigs in the back of a surf shop, San Diego trio almost monday—Dawson Daugherty, Cole Clisby, and Luke Fabry—surfaced in 2020 with their breakout single “broken people.” The track helped launch their debut EP don’t say you’re ordinary and landed them a Top 20 spot at Alternative Radio. 

From there, the band bottled California sunshine into funky basslines, ecstatic choruses, and danceable grooves—earning praise from GQ Australia, Forbes, People, and Alternative Press. 

Known for high-energy live shows, they’ve played major festivals including Lollapalooza, BottleRock, Firefly, and Life is Beautiful, and toured with AJR, The Driver Era, and Weathers. 

In 2024, almost monday released their long-awaited debut album DIVE. The lead single “can’t slow down” hit #1 on the Alternative Radio Chart in early 2025, and the band is currently selling out shows across the U.S., Mexico, and Europe on their globe-spanning DIVE Tour. With over 600 million streams and music featured on Netflix, HBO Max, and beyond, almost monday continue to soundtrack summer worldwide.
