I have been recording mixes for 29 years & this might be one my favourite sets ever. 

It seems I've grown to love long emotive arches – within songs as well as in programming. And Songs Not Tracks lets me do just that.

I get to showcase a variety of beautiful dance music I've been obsessed with. I can let it unfold over multiple hours, as an open-to-close club set would: with "the patience of an opening set, the drama of peak time, and the tender emotionality of closing a night" (quote from DJ Voices, one of the best writers in the dj realm).

Selections cover 5 decades and include many of my fave new releases of 2024. Once again house is front & center, but as always, surrounded by adjacent vibes (ok ok, you don't really get a real house song until 45 minutes in or so 😎) 

We begin slow, but start building soon enough. Eventually we get to peak time drama... and close with tender emotionality.
