We're very happy to welcome Hypnotic Peafowl onboard the Zenon team! His new Ep "The Mirror" is positively dripping with psychedelic sounds and jazz influenced melodies!

The "The Mirror" is part of a project designed by Aurelien Dornier aka Hypnotic Peafowl.

A project where the artist wants to create a narrative link between each published EP by revisiting the theme of Pandora's box and thus creating a guideline for the long term.

Pandora's box is a metaphor that symbolises the mind of peafowl, a very broad subject that will allow it to explore very different designations from one EP to another.

Structured like a play with intrigue, exhibition and outcome. Nothing is left to chance and each piece of music has a construction and a colour specific to the theme of the EP.

Here the first act "The Mirror" represents a positive conversation but it's up to you to make your own interpretation...

Our paths are always unforeseeable and it even gets tricky every often so. We might lose our way; get stuck in a dilemma without any clue of what's really happening. Sometimes we are our own nemesis and sometimes our muse just get disoriented🤪

Disoriented Muse - Hrik DJ Set [Outdoor Chronicles 2 - The Awakening]

DJ'ng since 2018, Hrik’s connection to music runs much deeper beginning in his teenage years when he explored his vocal abilities by covering metal tracks. While rooted in the raw energy of metal, his path took a transformative turn when he discovered Psytrance, opening the door to a whole new dimension.

Over the years, Hrik has performed at various private events, crafting sets that lean towards Progressive Psytrance while also weaving through Psy-chill and Full-on styles. His DJ sets are much structured but dynamic as well and always driven by emotion and rhythm.

As the co-founder of Fuzzy Concept, a collective championing the underground Psytrance and Techno scene in Mauritius, Hrik has played a pivotal role in organizing events that featured international acts like Zyce, Egomorph, and Freedom Fighters alongside local talents.

Now based in Western Central Europe as of 2025, Hrik continues his musical odyssey bringing his unique blend of mixing and immersive storytelling to new audiences.
