Braincell Set - Own Spirit Festival

Welcome to the last three months of my waking life, condensed into sound.
Each tune is symbolic of the highs and lows,
helping me reflect deeply, giving me clarity that only music seems to reveal.

It was an absolute pleasure to play some of my friends’ tunes throughout this journey — so powerful and inspiring to share their sound and be that conduit 😊

I had the privilege of sharing this story first at the Spangled Huckaloogie, then at the Antisocial Rave, and finally at MyAeon — the Melbourne launch party for Dimension.

Each set was raw, real, and reminded me why I create, connect, and continue to chase sound to better understand myself.

This is my tribute to psychedelic music 🎶

One Last Trip was a small but meaningful gathering for my farewell to the island. It felt right to craft a second chapter of Life is a Journey as some stories deserve more than one telling. This was not just about playing tracks but about closing a chapter with laughter, dancing and one final ride together before the next adventure begins. This mix is both a goodbye and a reminder that every ending carries the seed of a new beginning.

As you prepare to step toward your new horizon, my heart is filled with a thousand different feelings. There’s a tinge of sadness, of course, because an era is ending—a collection of inside jokes, late-night talks, and shared adventures that no one else could ever understand. And yet, there's an overwhelming swell of excitement for the future.
We’ve navigated so many mysteries together, haven't we? The mystery of what we would do on a random Tuesday, the mystery of how we would survive that one particularly tough time, and the far simpler mystery of where we left our keys. Through it all, you were the one constant, the dependable presence that made the puzzling parts of life less daunting and the joyful parts so much brighter.

Now, a new kind of mystery awaits you, one filled with unwritten chapters and brand-new landscapes. That's the beauty of this next step. The horizon is not an ending, but a promise of things yet to be discovered. It’s the unknown adventure that you have been brave enough to chase.

DJ'ng since 2018, Hrik’s connection to music runs much deeper beginning in his teenage years when he explored his vocal abilities by covering metal tracks. While rooted in the raw energy of metal, his path took a transformative turn when he discovered Psytrance, opening the door to a whole new dimension.

Over the years, Hrik has performed at various private events, crafting sets that lean towards Progressive Psytrance while also weaving through Psy-chill and Full-on styles. His DJ sets are much structured but dynamic as well and always driven by emotion and rhythm.

As the co-founder of Fuzzy Concept, a collective championing the underground Psytrance and Techno scene in Mauritius, Hrik has played a pivotal role in organizing events that featured international acts like Zyce, Egomorph, and Freedom Fighters alongside local talents.

Now based in Western Central Europe as of 2025, Hrik continues his musical odyssey bringing his unique blend of mixing and immersive storytelling to new audiences.
